Carlos tried to call Charles but he didn't pick up. The plane was supposed to leave in 45 minutes, so Carlos decided to go upstairs to see why his teammate hadn't arrived yet. He goes up the stairs and walks to the door but something is strange, the door is open. Carlos pokes his head in and calls out "Charles? We have to go now where are you?"
He looks at the floor and sees his phone. He picks it up and notices the broken screen " Charles!? " he screams his name again. He was getting nervous that Charles wasn't answering him and it doesn't take long before he notices a few shards which indicate that something is probably broken around the corner. He quickly walks off towards the glittering pieces of glass. What he saw shocked him so much that he dropped the phone from his hand. The small glass table that used to be next to the sofa was overturned in the middle of the room, and pieces of glass are lying all over the room, mixing with blood. He started to panic, there wasn't much blood, but it was enough to turn the whole room into a horror scene, and the indistinct bloody line that stretched into the next room scared the spaniel so much that he was afraid to make another sound. He takes small slow steps in the direction of the blood and when he sees that there is nothing behind the corner he begins to breathe heavily and runs around the apartment shouting the name of his friend... his secret love.

There's just nothing, nobody. He picks up his phone and calls the first person that comes to mind.
" Hey Fred! Is Charles at the airport? "
" No he's not! where are you two the pilot can't wait "
" Listen I'm at Charles's apartment and he's not there there's blood and the door was open and I don't- " His serious voice clearly changed to agitated.
His boss could hear him breathing heavily.
" Okay Carlos, calm down, I'll call someone if they don't know where he is, and you try to contact his family "
" Okay I-I have his phone here I will try to call someone "
" Good you will see that it has a clear explanation "

He hung up and went back to get Charles' phone. Carlos knew very well how to unlock it. Charles' code was the date of his 2019 Monza win.

He immediately knew who to call first. Charles' mom picked up the incoming call from her middle son's phone right away.
When she thought that her son was calling her, tears started to flow down Carlos's face.

Carlos suffered as he explained that her son was missing and under what conditions he disappeared and that he might be injured.
But his mother knew nothing.
She was afraid that something like this might come with Charles' fame, and now her fear was fulfilled.
She told Carlos that she would call the hospital and other family members and he should try for Charles' younger brother Arthur. But there was no one here who knew anything, just like this the fear for Charles's life grew.

Carlos leaned against the wall and slid down it to the floor. The last hope failed, the only thing he could do now was to call the police.

When the police arrived at the place in front of the building, a crowd of people was already forming. Everyone wanted to know what was going on. Inside were Charles' mother, younger brother, Ruppert, and two of Charles' close friends. They all stood in the hallway by Carlos trying to calm him down and also each other. None of them went in after Carlos warned them, there was nothing they wanted to see.

The police asked Carlos to take them to the crime scene and then they started taking pictures and collecting evidence. The captain sent Carlos to the station to give an explanation. Carlos was walking past the bedroom and something caught his attention. There was a photo frame on the bedside table. It's a selfie of Charles and him in the car taken by Charles.
