Toriel (offstage): Once apon a time, there were humans and monsters.
Froggit and Chara glare at eachother
Toriel (offstage): They got into a great war.
Froggit slowly walks OFSL, Chara stops glaring
Toriel (offstage): The monsters lost.
Chara walks OFSR
Toriel (offstage): The humans used magic to lock us away.
Frisk walks OSR
Toriel (offstage): The monsters were locked behind the Barrier.
Frisk walks to OSM
Toriel (offstage): We needed the power of 7 human souls to break it.
Frisk walks OFSL
Toriel (offstage): The king, Asgore, swore to kill any human who came down, and once he got 7 souls, he would break the Barrier.
Blackout
Toriel (offstage): So, now you know. If you continue into the underground, Asgore will kill you.
