Dipper woke with a scream. A blood curdling scream that made the shack creak in protest. He shot up in his bed, his eyes were everywhere; taking in every detail of his surroundings. His breathing was labored and fast while tears stung his eyes as they flowed down his cheeks.
Mabel immediately ran over to her brother, scared and startled as he suddenly woke up. She tackled him in a reassuring, tight hug; making sure to rub his back. The air was tense as Dipper began to calm down. He hugged Mabel back and buried his face into her shoulder; silently sobbing into it.
So many things were happening at once. Waddles ran around the room; panicking. Loud devices in the house were going off violently and rapidly as loud, heavy footsteps ran up the stairs followed by the violent yells of the grunkles. Dipper's breathing was loud still. Mabel's heart was beating as fast as it could as she tried to process everything that just randomly had started to happen.
The grunkles bursted into the room, the door slightly splintered from how hard it had been slammed against the wall.
"Mabel?! Are you alright? Was that you-??" Ford began off completely concerned and worried but his voice shifted into a far more confused tone as he saw the situation. He walked over to them and sat onto the side of the bed and facepalmed.
"..? Dipper, you alright kiddo? This is the second time you've woken up so- scared, wanna explain what happened?" Stan took a different approach than Ford had. He was more worried and concerned for Dipper.
Stan walked over and crouched down in front of the twins, he then leaned forward and hugged them both. His usually strict and humorous facial expression softened and he closed his eyes.
Dipper tried to muster the courage and strength to speak up but he couldn't. His words bubbled up in his throat and he choked on the air he breathed. Everything had become far more chaotic than it had been the other night.
"Dipper, take your time to speak bro, deep breaths, we need you to calm down to explain..." She whispered into his ear softly. She slowly pulled away from the hug and observed the Grunkles' expressions carefully.
Dipper finally looked up at them and let out a croak of a gag. He began to breath heavily which helped him calm down a little. His face was pale and his eyes were bloodshot. He looked distraught to everything around him.
As he finally calmed down a piercing, burning pain to his side became noticeable. He had been so caught up with trying to calm down that he hadn't noticed it.
"...Dipper, what's wrong with your side?" Ford finally spoke up; his voice was somewhat laced with concern though, for an odd change of events he lacked most of it.
"-.... M-my side...?" Dipper managed to stutter out after so long of panicking. He placed his hand over his side and that's when he realized his shirt was wet with some sort of black liquid.
He winced as he touched it and immediately pulled away. His breath slightly increased as he tried to cope with the pain.
"..alright, that confirms it, the two of you, bring Dipper to my lab after he's eaten. I need to go turn off my devices... I don't quite know what's going on with them—"
Ford turned around and froze up as a large, black and purple flame rose from the ground. The silhouette of a being; quite an odd sight to see because it was just a pure black 3D figure standing there.
The same laugh that caused Dipper that terrifying encounter echoed from the being. Chills ran up Dipper's spine and he clutched onto his family members tighter.
"Well, well, well! Look at the Kleine Mäuse! Adorable! I would love to see all of your face drenched in the blood of your friends and family.. of the terror would be sooo beautiful~"
The being spoke up, their voice deep and the definition of pure malice. It was terrifying. The voice would send shivers down the spines of the humans with the most hardened will power.
"....Who are you?" Ford slowly spoke up and took a step back. He didn't expect for this encounter but he didn't seem to scared; though he did indeed have terror in his eyes.
"Kids- if this goes bad... take the window; if you know what I mean." Stanley whispered to the younger pair of twins. Ford took his gun out; something never seen before.
"Oh my, I was just coming to check up on my toy... fine, since my attention is unwanted, I'll leave. But I'll be back. Oh! And the way you can get the hellfire off of him is by using fairy dust! You know where to find that!"
The being then laughed once again before some sort of circle had appeared underneath them. The circle had lit up in the same flames they used to get here to leave. All they had left was a pile of ash and a bag of what seemed to be fairy dust.
Dipper let out a gasp of air; his side was far worse than he had thought. He went to grab the dust to use it on his wound and the hellfire.
He didn't exactly get it first. Ford had snatched it from him and he couldn't get it. "I don't trust that demon. You can use the damn fairy dust that's in the lab. I still want to have that meeting with all of you; no objections, Mabel."
Ford looked up and glared at Mabel. That was a look that would definitely kill someone if it could. He let out a scowl and rubbed his temples; he had become agitated and frustrated from that whole situation that was thrown onto his plate last second.
There were no words left to say, they didn't want to irritate Ford anymore than he already had been. Ford then turned around; he took a small step and then turned to are at them all and then he left.
