"Thank me?" Leon looked slightly off-put from her words. "I only paid for a $4 coffee.... "

"Yeah I get that part...." she sighs crossing her legs, Leon can't help but notice her outline. She definitely doesn't look short on money. Definitely for just some overpriced coffee. As she looks at her phone in shame again.

"....I have to ask now, you don't look like someone who would be lacking in money, let alone $4." She looks up from Leon's remark before sighing.

"My parents seem to be serious about the 'cutting me off thing'. So fucking stupid...."

Leon laughs lightly, the girl looking up seeming a little upset from Leon finding this humorous.

"What.... daddy not giving you any more money? How old are you? You look like a brat too...."

"Oh fuck you, uh, and to think I even came over here to-" She stops herself from getting up, seeing Leon holding up a wad of cash out of his pocket.

"So you gonna answer my question? Does this pretty face even have a name?"

"..... It's Quinn..."

"Well, Quinn.... this could be yours. I just want a clear explanation of one thing....why did he cut you off? Spending too much on your nails, hair, let me guess daddy doesn't agree with your boyfriend? "

Quinn crossed her arms in annoyance. For the few moments of silence only filled with the rush hour for the café. She sits up taking a deep breath, swallowing her pride she looks Leon straight in the eye.

"You've ever had the feeling your life wasn't your own... no matter what you did, how you acted....you were never good enough even when you were reaching for the stars?"

".....what's your point?"Quinn rolls her eyes.

"I'm not exactly what my parents wanted in a kid.....I had such 'big dreams' I gave up on being who I am... And now cause I refuse to listen to these new rules...They cut me off..."

Leon seems slightly disappointed with the answer, yet he still rolls the money to her. "Get on your own feet... no one likes a freeloader."

"The fact you don't even know me, yet quick to judge. Let me guess, you're an overworked alcoholic who gets his kicks off paying people for shit you want that you could never have...."

Leon and Quinn look each other in the eye, both having this burning aggression towards one another. Fucking brat.....got the nerve...

Leon gives a small smirk. "Obviously, I get what I want when I want it....isn't that the goal in the end?"

"Well, what's the point of having everything in the world and no one to share it with....those rings on your necklace ain't from no dead wife...."

"Hey!" Leon looked around to the startled-up people from his sudden outburst.

"Oh calm down, you're ego is showing darling."

"....you got the money so go, honestly I could be doing better things than arguing with some spoiled brat." Closing his laptop he stands before Quinn stands up putting a card to his chest.

"I can tell you're a mess..... So if you really wanna fix yourself before you end up a memory nobody wants, then I'd learn to shut the fuck up and listen."

She pushes past as Leon looks at the card. "Profesional life coaching? Pfft....fucking brat. Gotta make up a fake job just to get money.....some people." Subconsouly Leon slips the card into his pocket, sipping at his coffee and heading out the door.

Sitting at his office continuing the endless tapping of his fingers flying to finish his outlines for the month. He turns to see his mobile phone ringing. Who could be calling me? This late?

He holds his phone up as he sees it as an unknown number, and he groans like always for these randoms. "Better not be another one of those spam calls...Hello?"

"And he answers, not like you would miss a single call." The voice sends a cold reminder down his spine.

"Paige..."

"So cold, I see how it is don't worry... point taken. I just hope you know I'll be back in town soon for that donation anniversary."

"What, how do you know about that?"

"Oh my, I see someone hasn't read the email. The board finally decided they'd only fund one of us now?"

"What?!" Leon rushed to go to his emails, seeing he missed the email from his afternoon being interrupted. "What the fuck is this, funding you I didn't agree to this?"

"You dumb ass we signed it off together. Or did you forget that too since you didn't even look at me that day? Just know that it doesn't matter, I hope you know that little company could be mine now?"

"Why are you even calling me?! If you just wanted to threaten me then you can cut it... "

"Hmm... Just be prepared to disappear..." She suddenly hangs up, leaving Leon there stuck in place. He slowly placed his laptop down as he flopped into his chair. He's stuck looking at the ceiling before spotting in the corner of his eye, his reflection in the window. Im so fucked...

"Fuck!" Slamming his hand on his desk his empty coffee cup falls over, inside the trash Leon put in before falls. He rubs his face before noticing the card lying in the coffee-stained trash. Holding up the card, he looks at it in disbelief. "I can't believe I'm doing this... "

In a light groan, Quinn reaches for her ringing phone, knocking it to the ground before rushing to pick it up. "Hello... Uh, it like 12 am?"

"..."

"Hello?! I swear stop these pranks you weirdos! Fuck this I'm hanging up-"

"No! Wait please... don't hang up... I need your help."
