The same familiar smell of coffee fills his nose, but no part of it gives him ease. He leans back tensely as Quinn moves the coffee cup down smirking lightly. He shows he isn't entertained by this, knowing he asked her for help. "Can you just-"

"Oh no no, you still don't get it. You are telling me you're on your last leg. Since you can buy what you want when you want it... How much do you think the price of my help will be?"

"Don't flatter yourself..."

"Heh, says the man asking for a miracle." She sips at her drink again looking Leon up and down. "Awe, someone even put on a nice suit today. Is that aftershave I smell, someone doing big business today?"

"Don't... "

"Or what? I don't understand what's so big about this you need me to work right away."

Leon sighs to himself. Of course, she wants an explanation... I can't tell her everything...

"So my company has been helping and receiving funds from this donation company. They are the reason Im so big now, and well apparently I am in jeopardy of losing it. I haven't been to their parties in years, and just showing up cause they threatened to take my funds doesn't look good for me. If I have no 2nd in command or someone good enough to take over when I retire. I want you...No ... I need your help, you said you're a life coach right? I need to look my best... If they see me like this I should go ahead and prepare for bankruptcy."

She looks around the cafe, before looking back at Leon. Stuck with his head on the ground like a defeated animal accepting its fate. She even hesitates, already wanting to leave him in the dirt where he honestly belongs. But their pity for him grew, she sat herself up tapping her finger on the table making Leon look at her.

"So let me get this straight, I have 3 months-"

"8 weeks..."

"8 weeks... to not only make you look presentable but I am growing you out of this ugly image you made for yourself."

"Ugly?'

Quinn leans down, rummaging through her bag and opening her laptop. She turns it to Leon seeing the many articles on him. Many tabs on just him alone, he looks through the tabs and sees nothing but stories on Leon and his divorce ending in a mess. How he comes off as the Worst Business Lover he leans back slightly irritated.

"Who the hell had the balls-"

"Many, that's the one problem... I'll help you, but we are gonna have to put down some ground rules, and a plan."

"Name the price, if this works out in the end I'll double it... Thank it as a gift."

"I will contact you by tomorrow, I need information on you. Address, number, etc."

"I'll give you my number... " As Leon takes out his phone he jolts from the flashing light outside. Looking over they saw a cameraman seeming to be taking pictures of him and Quinn.

"Mister Davis! Is it true you cheated on your past wife which led to your divorce?!" The man's muffled yell seems clear to them inside. Leon balled his fist, Quinn noticing the sudden rush of urgency in the moment, and stood up. Sitting in Leon's lap his anger turned into confusion looking at Quinn.

"Don't listen to them now, can't let him ruin our fun right?" Quinn moves over lightly kissing Leon's cheek. The sweet smell of Quinn's perfume seemed to turn Leon's focus away. The cameraman seems more excited to even see this, capturing the moment with his camera.

"Play along, and you might be too good to touch in 3  months..." She stood up and gave a bright yet scheming smile. "I'll be in contact soon, chow darling~."

The cameraman rushes away from Leon as he sees Quinn leaving the shop, now having more interest in this mystery girl with Leon than himself. "That girl is sum else... the hell she got planned?"

~~*~~

The loud buzzing of the doorbell spazzes in Leon's ears. Groaning to himself as he looks at the clock. "Fucking 6 am..." Not even fully awake as he stumbled to his front door. Looking at his screen for his gates he stops seeing Quinn on the cameras.

"I know you're in there, rise and shine don't have time to waste!" Leon rolled his eyes pressing the button to open the gates. Opening the door Leon looked down at Quinn rubbing at his eyes. "You couldn't have come this afternoon? It's a Saturday?!"

"And you smell like a bar plus its bathroom. Uh-" She pushed past Leon looking around the house. She had a notepad as she examined the house.

"What are you even doing here? Thought you said you'd just call or something."

"If you think I can fix all of this in a phone call, then this is gonna be a long 8 weeks. This is a simple plan, I need to move in with you?"

"Move in?!" Quinn throws a packet at Leon. He holds it in his hands reading it out loud.

"Really... 'midlife crisis?'...what kind of name-"

"Just read it! It's the outline of what needs to be done. If you want me to help you then that's it. we will maintain a schedule and that plan."

"$250,000 Up front, $500,000 out? Hmm... that's a specific price."

"I'll be leaving this city... You offered double if I do this, so don't try anything to screw me over. Isn't hard to tell the press you are paying someone to pretend to be your girlfriend."

"Im not paying you for that..."

"Well... you are now" She holds her phone up seeing top on the gossip news.
