YOU CRACKED OPEN YOUR fifth beer, chugging it down then casting the bottle to the side. it was barely 2am, still the same night you punched vanessa. it felt like a blur now, however. had you usually had violent outbursts like that? it was strange to think that it was you who did that.
you sighed, opening another bottle. "i miss him.." you muttered, tearing up as you thought about your dead friend. you chugged down your sixth as you rubbed your face. you then turned towards the boy, who was standing behind your chair. he wore a childish grin. he looked so innocent.
"do you remember me?" he finally spoke, which shocked you. it took a bit for your drunken brain process. "g-goldie..!" you replied, rushing over and giving him a hug. goldie returned the hug, soon pulling away. "i really missed you, y/n" he said as you wiped your tears away. "please don't go again.." you said as you sat on your knees, looking at him. "we'll be best friends forever" goldie reassured, noticing the bottles on your table. "cmon. we can play like we used to. your favorite game was ski-ball, right?" you nodded as he helped you stand. "there's already a taxi outside. we'll be there soon" goldie stated, walking you to the taxi.
"had a long night, huh- AH!" the driver jumped in fear as he looked in the rear-view mirror. instead of goldie, there was just a huge golden bear sitting next to you. "why do i always get the weirdos..?" the driver muttered, especially confused on how you didn't notice it yourself. he began driving to freddy's as you slowly blacked out from the alcohol in your system, barely aware of what was going on.

"just look at them, tom. they look depressed" your mother said, watching as you sat on a swing and looked down. "well nancy, the doctor did say that they're showing symptoms of depression and-" "and this is why i don't got to doctors, they're spouting a bunch of bullshit and poisoning our child with the lies" nancy interrupted, making tom sigh. "whatever you say, nance.." your father muttered, his eyes instantly going over at another chick.
a ball rolled over to you, hitting your feet. "hey, can you kick that back??" a girl shouted, she and her four other friends looking at you. you tensed up as you noticed that all of their eyes were on you. "o-oh.." you spoke, standing and picking up the ball. you walked over to them, allowing the girl to take the ball. "thanks" she said, smiling. "y-yeah.." you nervously replied, walking back over to the swing. you sat back down, watching the five kids play. you sighed, looking down at your lap. why had you even been born? you really served no purpose..
someone sat on the swing next to you. "you seem lonely" he spoke, a smile on his face. you turned to him. "erm.." "what's your name?" he asked. "..y/n l/n.." you said hesitantly, sneaking glances at your mother, since you really didn't know how to interact with other people. "my friends call me goldie. it's nice to meet you, y/n" goldie replied, his smile widening. you were still quite nervous, so goldie was the main one making conversation. "do you want me to push you?" he asked. "oh- uhm, sure.." you answered as goldie got behind you and started pushing you on the swing. you gripped onto the chains. goldie laughed as he pushed you higher. at first, you panicked, but soon started laughing with him.
he eventually introduced you to the rest of his friends, but you remained the closest with him. he was your first and only friend throughout your entire childhood, all the way up until his death..
