Paxton's P.O.V.
The war only lasted a few days before the humans gave into our demands. Many were killed, on both sides, however vampires are much more resilient than the humans are and can bounce back quickly. My husband was leader of the army, and I was part of the government aspect of it all. I helped arrange everything for the humans after the war and now we are in the middle of the transition period. A period where we make sure each human is placed with a good pair of vampires. My husband and I both matched with a young nineteen-year-old boy that was orphaned during the war. He was supposedly a very shy kid and would be perfect for my husband and I to take care of.
"Honey, stop stressing, everything will be fine when he gets here" my husband told me.
I only stopped momentarily to glare at him, "everything has to be perfect, not just fine Danial."
He only chuckled at me while shaking his head lightly. I was a bit nervous for Isaiah to come live with us as I was unsure if he was going to be a handful with the sudden changes in his life. The stories I have heard from coworkers has lead me to believe that the humans were putting up a fight to the changes.
Danial and I were worried that we wouldn't get matched with a human and now we had one coming to live with us. It was very nerve wracking to think about it.
Three loud knocks were sounded on our front door, causing me to jump lightly in surprise as I was not ready yet. Danial was the one to answer the door for me and I could hear talking before the door was shut once more. I couldn't hear any fussing or whining so either Isaiah was cooperating or he was asleep.
Neither were correct answers, when Danial walked in I could tell that Isaiah was not in his right mind. He was groggy and lethargic, leaning against Danial for support. He was drugged and I knew that instantly.
"He put up a hell of a fight apparently" Danial stated looking down at the small teen he was holding. "They said they couldn't get him to calm down until he was sedated, poor thing must be so scared."
"No duh Danial, he is being handed over to strangers to be a baby for us so we can teach them how to properly take care of themselves. You would put up a fight too if it was us over them."
"Please, the benefit of being vampires is that we can out man the humans any day of the week."
Rolling my eyes at his blatant disregard for the humans' point of view on this. They are being completely forced into something they never signed up for. All because vampires can't have children.
I took Isaiah from my husband and checked him over. The only injury being the spot he was injected. Working quickly was important, so I took him up the stairs and began to change him. Being mindful that he was still in an adult mind frame I did not undress him completely. Only down to his boxer briefs then into some cute, child inspired, comfy clothes.
"W where am I?" He questioned finally seeming to come around a bit.
"Home sweet boy, you're home."

Isaiah's P.O.V.
I only remember a bit after I was taken. Remembering that I was being forced to stay with two freaking vampires, yes I said vampires. They were apparently real and now owned the world like humans used to. I do remember that I fought the vampires that took me. Knowing I didn't want to go anywhere near these two vampires I was supposed to be with.
After I was injected with a sedative I knew where I was going, just not the exact location. I was very cooperative after the sedative had taken full effect on me. To the point that I let a complete stranger change me before even speaking to him.
The next thing I knew I was waking up laid out in a cage type thing. The clothing I was wearing was soft and comforting. Still wearing my boxer briefs made me feel a bit better knowing someone else changed me. This meant that he didn't see ALL of me exposed like a pervert, he had respect.
Looking around the room I found that I was in an adult sized crib. Okay not bad I cam figure that out, at least it wasn't a cage. There were soft blues and greens around the room. Plenty of toys and stuffed animals. As well as a chest of drawers tucked neatly away in the corner. It wasn't something I expected when I was told I would be staying with the two vampires.
I hoisted myself up to stand on the soft mattress before my attempt to get out of the crib was interrupted. A door opened to reveal the silhouette of a man. I was average size for my age, however this man stood a good six feet three inches tall. When he walkedinto the dimmly lit room i could see his features better. He had blonde hair, a chisled jaw line, and high cheek bones.
"Good morning Isaiah, did you sleep well honey?" His deep voice provided a bit of comfort as it was calm and soothing.
I could only nod as now I was a bit nervous as to how gorgeous this man was. He came over lifted a latch and the side of the crib slid down. Reaching his arms out to me I assumed he was going to help me down so I accepted. Only to be lifted into this man's arms and held like a small child. I could be corrected as I do not believe I am of average size any longer.
"Let's get you some food and have a conversation with me you and my husband yeah?" He stated more than questioned of me.
I nodded still star struck at the fact he was carrying me like I weighed nothing. Walking down the hall he took me into a living room where another gorgeous looking man sat. This man had black hair, a stern yet gentle face, and a bit of stubble on his chin.
"Isaiah this is Daniel" the man holding me stated waving a hand at the new man.
"My name is Paxton, is it okay if we have a talk about your new life here?"
I shrugged as I didn't know what to say at this point, they were stronger than me so they could hurt me at any time if I disagreed with them.
"First this is a safe space, right now we aren't going to force you into a lot" Paxton told me as he joined Daniel on the couch with me straddling him. "This is a big change and we both understand that. However we do have rules in this house that we expect you to follow."
I merely blinked at him as I was now curious as to what this new arrangement was meant to be.
"Firstly, repect, we will respect you so long as you respect us. This one is non-negotiable, as it is very important to me and my husband."
That was easy respecting someone else was common and I am in their house so respect is expected.
"Second, when we ask you to do something simple, nothing complicated, we expect you to do it no arguments " Daniel spoke up leaving my heart to race at the deepness of his own voice.
"For right now that is what we are working with until you get more comfortable here, does that sound reasonable?"
I nodded at the two as it didn't seem to be that hard of a request from them. They both smiled at me fondly before asking if I wanted to watch some TV before breakfast. That sounded nice so I agreed and they set me on the couch to watch what I wanted while I waited.
