I watched it ring for a while and finally decided to pick it up as now I'm Piya a character from the novel My Sunshine.
No sooner did I picked up, from other side I could hear a cheery voice of a girl. She said hey "Piyu" are you busy? It was awkward for me to answer her. She called me Piyu as in nickname. When she didn't receive any response she asked if I was there breaking my chain of thoughts so I coughed a little and said "yaa... I'm there and no I'm not busy." It came out naturally. She could not find any fault with me. Then she started asking about how I'm doing and other thing. We had a nice chat and after that she kept quite and did not say anything for a while so I realized she is hesitating to ask something. So I asked if every thing is alright. Then she hesitantly asked if Meera and she could stay at my place for this summer holiday ? To which I said, of course Kia, you guys can crash at my place anytime, any way I live alone here. She said okay but I could sense she still had something to tell so I asked if anything else she wanna tell then she said she will not be there for 2 days and do not want to leave Meera alone at home so... Is it possible for me to pick Meera up now? "Sure Kia" As I said this I could hear her leaving a breath that she was holding from other side. I laughed at her and asked if she's going to see that Abhi whom she met at the coffee shop sometime before to which she was shocked and started stammering. I could not control my laughter and cracked up.. It's ok Kia go ahead I will keep Meera company for you. Though I'm not sure what kind of guy Abhi is yet so be careful, Why were you so nervous anyway? As I finished she said Thankyou Piyu, he actually asked me out today so I'm little bit scared but I like him a lot and I thought you will lecture me or something like that. I laughed a little and said "I can actually feel your excitement from here", go ahead Kia, I'll pick Meera up from your house. After talking for a while we ended our call. I came out of my room and into the hall it was beautiful and I knew everything naturally as if it was not my first time. I prepared dinner for us and got ready to pick Meera up.
