Draco woke up in the middle of the night from a thunderstorm, he sighed when he decided to get a cup of water, while walking to the kitchen he heard sobs coming from Hermione room, with curiosity Draco knocked on Hermione door causing her to be startled as she said while sobbing "Merlin's! Why are you up?" Draco replied "just wanted to get a cup of water and because of the thunder. You?" Hermione replied while smiling "same it's just remind me of the w-" Draco continued the sentence "the war. Yea me too." Hermione then said nervously "would you mind staying next to me a while? If you want." Draco starched the back of his neck and said "I guess.." Hermione moved a little for him to lay down as she patted the bed to tell him to lie down. Draco lay down as they were staring at the ceiling, then there was a loud thunder causing Hermione to grab draco's hand, Hermione realised and immediately take her hand off and said "sorry." Draco replied softly "it's ok." After a couple of hours they both fell asleep and the sun starts to rise when's it the next morning. Hermione woke up yawning and saw Draco with messy hair he was beautiful but she got to stop as she remained herself she has a boyfriend. She then woke him up, Draco woke up and said "oh hi uhh imma let you change." Hermione smiled while nodding when she said "oh and Draco thank you." Draco gave a small smile and walked out. Hermione changed when she look at her calendar as it says tomorrow is valentine she was excited so she changed quickly and headed to the cafeteria.
Hermione then sat down next to Ginny they were talking normally but then Ron said "mione can I talk to you for a moment?" Hermione replied happily "yea Ron." Ron dragged Hermione out of the cafeteria and turn to a corner. Ron then said nervously "just know that I've loved you so much and please I get it your mad just understand I didn't mean too." Hermione was getting suspicious and said "yea ok." Ron inhaled and said "so I was at a party and I got really drunk and I saw lavender sitting at the bartenders table I went there and next thing I know we kissed." Hermione bit inside of her cheek as she nods then said said "so you guys just kiss?" Ron let out a loud sigh and said "no..." Hermione was confused when she said "YOU GUYS HAD-" Ron cut her off and said "I'm sorry. Please forgive me." Hermione had tears in her eyes as she said with her voice breaking "how could I forgive you!? YOU CHEATED!" Ron the said defensively "I WAS DRUNK!" Hermione replied unbelievably "so what! You cheated! You know what we're over!" Tears were falling as Ron tried to hold her but she pulled away and said "don't touch me." She soon ran away crying. Hermione didn't go to any lessons instead she ate a whole tub of ice cream and watched movie and crying, then Draco came back, she saw Hermione lying down on the couch crying so he kneel down in front of Hermione and ask "mione you alright?" Hermione sat up and said "Ron cheated.." Draco said aggressively "HE WHAT!?" Hermione chuckled and said sniffling "yea I know... I now I don't have a date to the valentine party." Hermione laughed then Draco said "how about me?" Hermione turned red as she ask "what? I'm sure you want to be with someone you actually like..." Draco looked down and said "yea but you're my friend. Plus I don't have anyone." Draco had a crush on Hermione since 2 year but she doesn't know. Hermione thought for a moment and said "I guess I also want to get him back you know?" Draco said with a disappointed tone "yea I know..." Hermione smiled as she got up from the couch and said "thanks Draco you're a good friend!" Then she hugged him and went to her room leaving the blond boy standing there.
