I watch as jack picks me up clearly wanting me to come to the forest but as he started running gunshots could be heard and I felt a giant of pain through my chest and before blacking out I stare at jack who was also shot and we both fell to the ground

As you wake up you immediately try to use your arms but they are chained to a bed. Your body was in bandages.

You immediately questioned what Leo was doing there and he only returned with a smirk. You then questioned why you were in chains

Leo states: " don't worry we aren't sending you to jail, the 'doctor' tied you up because you were 'struggling' when you were in your coma"

"Don't lie Leo!"

Leo stood up from where he was sitting and he touched your leg making your face turn red but it turned disgusted. You tried to move your arm but it was chained to the bed. Leo's hand moves to your chin.

"I will let you know everything, y/n if you become mine." I don't know why but I called out the name jack making Leo laugh.

"That beast is dying right now it's useless"

I screamed and it was answered by people answering questioning if Leo was the one screaming.

"Doctor I need help I am dying!"

Yes maybe I was being over dramatic but it worked. Someone opened the door and it was someone that you knew.

Dr Evie

Dr Evie not only did he have a degree in medicine but a degree in animal health.

Dr Evie told me we were at a secret base somewhere in the world. What pissed me a lot was when dr Evie didn't tell me where the base was.

Dr Evie looked happy that you were getting supported by the government but you couldn't help but think this was meant to be a graduation project not a government project.

"And it was amazing that you found the beast!"

That was when you remembered jack

"Where is the beast is he dying?!"

"No of course not! The beast is fine underground in a forest habitat."

You bit your lip they were treating the beast as a zoo animal.

"Take me there! I can talk to the creature and maybe calm him down."

Chapter 5.9

"Alright let's see what will happen." You could see Leo clutching his hands but as you watch dr Evie unchaining your arms and legs you follow her.

You follow dr Evie into a elevator and you watch as the glass elevator goes pass many other habits but all of them had a hole that was a waterfall but each habit had a different main creature but none of them was like jack maybe because he was the deepest creature in this underground lab or maybe because he was the most unique, human? Or many other things who knows.

As the elevator stopped and both you and dr Evie stepped out of the elevator you were met with beauty of a habit.

Deers, birds any creature from common to endangered creatures were in the giant habit. A lake was formed by a waterfall. The habit felt peaceful but as you keep following the glass hall.

You couldn't help but fell relaxed you wanted to just sit in the habit and pick the flowers but for know you could only watch.

You begin smelling the smell of the beast and you asked dr Evie.

"Do you smell that?"

"The smell of the forest?"

"No. The smell of-"

You were cut off by the door opening revealing more of the habit. You stare out and at the deers gathered around one spot.

"What's happening over there?"

"Well we don't actually know but the deers acted very calm before the creature arrived."

"Can we communicate with the beast?"

"Well we do have something that is in its testing phase but has everything that is needed to communicate with the beast" you watch as dr Evie takes out a small box and you stare back out.

"I make up a sentence for you" as dr Evie is distracted you watch as a figure comes into your view and you watch as jack appears from the trees touching the glass with his left hand.

"I think the box is working what did it say?" You watch dr Evie smiles and plays it again.

"Y..../.....n"

"What does it mean?" You didn't know why but it sounded like your name but you just ignore that thought it was silly.

"Well we think it is when the beast is courting."

You look back at jack who still stood there staring at you.
