";Chapter 7 ;"

I scream as I wake up but as I pull the blanket off my chest I had everything in place and that calmed me down.

"Shit-"

Pain came from my waist it felt sore and soft Below the waist like I had been beaten up.

I remember that i should've been studying the beast with dr Evie in the underground habitat. So why was I lying on a bed again?

Wait is dr Evie even still alive you remembered that dr Evie was hit by the beast and then you didn't remember much else.

You watch as Leo storms into the room grabbing me by the shirt.

"What? Did you eat something bad? Did your mum disown you?"

You watch as Leo only grows angrier.

"I warned you not to approach that beast! You still don't listen!"

You groan as Leo lets go of you and you fall back onto the bed making your waist feel even more sore.

"What are you crazy about?!"

"Y/n, tell me, you didn't do it voluntarily, you just had temporary amnesia, RIGHT?"

temporary amnesia? My memory is broken, does Leo know what happened to dr Evie and to me?

"Yeah, do you know what I forgot?" I push Leo away from me

"What caused my injury? Is dr Evie okay?"

Leo looks somewhat shocked by my reaction and only blushes as my face was in a confused state.

"LEO?" you tried to see if Leo was even listening to you.

"The monitors took pictures, you can see them for your self."

You walk over to the computer and sat in the chair. Your eyes widened as you are met with a picture of the beast kissing your forehead. The door is opened and you close the computer and you watch as Leo goes over to another woman.

"Ella"

"How do you-"

"Please call me dr. Here."

"Hello y/n, i am the director of this research station about the mysterious creatures in the slender forest we are called the sci."

"Hello.. I am y/n I am a 6 year student of the department of biology at the xxxxxx academy of st.mary, what are you doing here seeing me dr?"

"Well I heard you can speak to our most important creature here at this station."

"And if you can I hope you can help with assisting us in breeding the beast."

"Breeding? Did you catch a female one?"

"No. Sadly we think that the beast is one of a kind so this female is a cloned species and we think it will only survive a year. As of today, there is less than a week left."

"Why will it only survive a year/week?"

"Because it won't eat anything and it's a cloned species so it won't have everything a normal animal would have so it can't survive."

"Well I wanna help"

I wanted to witness and assist in seeing the beast breed with its kind.

This could also help with jack seeing he got the wrong mate and to take his attention away from me.

Your body shivers and you didn't know why that just thinking of this beast would make your body have this kind of reaction.
