"Hey. I miss you." I shook my head, chuckling.

"Y'know, my neighbors think I'm crazy. They don't understand why I talk to you. They don't know somebody is there."

I looked to my left, seeing my neighbors shaking their heads at me.

A tear trickled down my face.

"I want you back. You're all I had." I wiped away my tears and took a deep breath. I closed my eyes and whispered, "You hear me?"

Of course not. Talking to the moon. It seemed silly. I knew it was but I couldn't stop. He was out there. My moon. He would come back. I just needed to keep talking.

I opened my eyes and looked at the sky. I heard a faint voice respond, "I hear you." I smiled and let out a sigh of relief. I turned, walking back inside.

I had school the next day.
