Chapter 7

When I woke up the next morning there was a wrapped box at the end of my bed. I yawned and rubbed my eyes walked to the bathroom and got ready for class. I noticed that Jake was still sleeping when I came out of the bathroom and decided to open the box.

I sat down on my bed and pulled the box towards me and carefully unwrapped it, not wanting to wake up Jake. When I finally pulled of all the wrapping paper I couldn't help but scream. Jake's eyes popped open and he jumped out of bed and grabbed a baseball bat. When he made sure nobody was in our room his eyes fell on me.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He says climbing back under his covers.

"You got me an iHome?!" I reply not containing my excitement.

"Yeah, I kinda felt bad for destroying your alarm and since you have an iPhone I thought you'd like it," he says shrugging.

"I freaking love it!!" I scream while hugging the box.

"Don't we have class today?" I ask confused.

"It was cancelled since everyone is decorating the buildings for Christmas," he instantly falls asleep after that and I didn't really mind. I open the box and grin at the amazing iHome. I pull it out and hooked it all up and push my iPhone5 down on the charging thing.

I scroll through all my songs and pressed 'Rock Me' by One Direction. The lyrics blare out of the speakers and I start on my homework. Jake gives up on sleep after the 3rd song and gets ready for breakfast. When I finish all my homework we go downstairs to the dining hall. I sit at our usual table and this time Jake sits with his friends.

"All students report to the gymnasium after breakfast, please" booms the annoying voice on the intercom. Blake and Alex were obviously dating and I note to ask her about it later. We all shove the last of our food down our throats and head to the gymnasium together.

"Somone seems a little too happy this morning," says Erin from beside me.

"I'm pretty sure you'd me ecstatic if Jake bought you an iHome!" I exclaim. Everyone's jaw dropped, literally.

"He got you an iHome?!" Everyone yells. I nod with a huge smile on my face and Jade speaks up.

"I wish my roommate got ME an iHome!" She says nudging Alex, who grins.

"I wish my roommate would switch with Blake, but not everyone's dreams come true" she laughs. Jade crosses her arms and remarks that nobody in the world could pay her enough to room with Seth. I giggle at the thought of her nagging at him and him asking her to make a sandwich.

We enter the gymnasium right on time and sit down in a row. The headmistress or principal comes on the stage they have set up and speaks into the mic.

"As you all know, Christmas break is next week and we all need to work together to make this campus look amazing," she says grinning at us.

"Everyone is required to decorate their rooms for a grade since there is no class today," she says earning a few claps and a few boos.

"We will be placing everyone in groups of 7s to help decorate the dining hall, the main building, hallways, the office, and more! The sign up sheets are with Mr. Martin and Mrs. Veatch," she finishes and steps off stage.

Erin, Seth, Blake, Alex, Jade, Jake, and I are all in a group. I'm happy we all got put together and we all choose to decorate the dining hall tomorrow after we decorate out rooms. We all depart to our rooms with our roommates and pick a time to meet later.

"Do you wanna buy some Christmas stuff? I could drive us," asks Jake and I nod in reply. We don't really had any decorations anyway.

"We can go in my car, my dad shipped it here a few days ago," I say remembering. He follows me out to my car and I smirk at his reaction when I unlock it.

"You have a Lamborghini?!" He says eyeing my silver Lamborghini.

"Yeah, I got it a few months ago," I shrug and sit in the drivers seat and he sits down in the passenger seat. I start the engine and wait for it to heat up.

"How can you have the Aventador? It just came out like a month ago!" He says astonished.

"My dad has connections," I say and pull out of the parking lot and drive to Hobby Lobby. I park in the parking lot and I make sure to lock my car. We walk in through the sliding doors and make our way towards the aisle with all the Christmas trees. After a lot of discussing we decide to buy a Christmas tree, pretty ornaments, a wreath, a can of spray glitter, wrapping paper, and bows. He pushes the cart to a register and I pull out my credit card, but he doesn't let me pay.

Once we load everything except the Christmas tree in my car, I drive us back to the campus with a Hobby Lobby truck following us. We carry the bags upstairs and a man brings our tree for us. He leaves it in the corner of our room and we start working. We hang up ornaments ornaments and wrap lights around it. When we are done hanging the ornaments and lights on the tree, I pull out the spray glitter and spray it all over it.

We take a step back and marvel at the beautiful, sparkling masterpiece and move on to the rest of the room. I place the white wreath with little colorful ornaments on the door and spray that with glitter too and smile. Jake hangs up the lights all over the room and I pin up a few bows here and there. When we are done, we are exhausted. I fall back on my bed and admire our teamwork.

"The room looks amazing!" I say joyfully turning to face him. He's lying on his bed facing me and smiles back.

"Are you staying here during the holidays?" He asked a second later.

"Yep, my parents are probably not going to be home, why?" I reply

"I'm staying here too," he says answering my question.

"Well, I'm going to shower before dinner," I say walking into my closet and pulling out a pair of red skinny jeans, a white and blue striped shirt, my black north face sweater, and head to my bathroom. When I'm dressed I blow dry my hair and curl it with my curling wand. When I look perfect, I exit the bathroom, pull on a pair of socks and slip on a pair of my Grey knit UGGs.

When I look up Jake comes out of his bathroom, shirtless. I do all I can to not stare at his perfectly toned chest and stomach. His hair is sticking up in every direction making him even sexier. He clears his throat and I look down and blush.

"You can head down, I'll be there in a few," he says staring intensely at me. I grab my room key and slip it in my pocket and practically run out of the room and straight into Seth. I groan when my head hits his chest and I stumble back, running my head.

"Sorry Seth," I say still rubbing me head.

"It's fine, you alright?" He asks with worry.

"Yeah I'm good, you heading down to dinner too?" I ask and press the down button to the elevator. He nods, so we walk together to the dining hall and sit in out usual spot. The others arrive a few moments later and I can't help but wonder how amazing tomorrow will be.
