10 years after their original partership in f2, things seem lost completely for Ollie and Millie. Will the pairing rekindle a fallen relationship or is the story of Millie Norris and Ollie Bearman finally over......
"This time 9 years ago, i thought id never race again. I had just completed my final season in formula 3 with prema, knowing that 2022 wouldn't bring anything for me due to my ban. Prema called and asked me to fill in for one of their formula 2 drivers, Frederik Vesti. Me and Fred are now very good friends and in some wierd way i have to thank him for falling ill because it gave me the opportunity to show i could still race. Somehow i came P1 in that race and knew that no matter what i had proved myself. Anyway, back to the sidelines it was for me. In Baku, Fred crashed pretty bad during his quali session, breaking his hand. In comes me to fill in once again and after another brilliant weekend, including a 1-2 result with my teammate......Ollie Bearman"
she went silent for a moment
"Prema managed to find a loophole to re-sign me before every session as a reserve for fred which allowed me to race for the full season and even come away with the world drivers and constructors championship under my belt. It was an incredible opportunity and my ban was even lifted. 2024 i couldn't find a seat due to the ban being lifted so late, but i managed to sign with aston martin in 2025. They were incredible and it really allowed me to have an incredible rookie season in formula 1.
When i moved on, i became my brothers teammate at mclaren for 6 years, but i knew if i wanted more championships it was time to join a new team and start a new chapter."
she looked around the room at the eyes looking at her. the whole crew were sat infront of her awaiting her next words. She looked to the side at her new teammate who simply smiled at her in an encouraging manner. Millie returned to facing the room.
"Which is why i am excited to work with you all this year as a Red Bull Racing driver"
Cheers and claps erupted from around the room as millie bowed and stepped off the stage to go and sit next to Max Verstappen, her teammate for the 2032 campaign. He was 35 years old but still bloody quick. Redbull were keeping him until he was ready to go, and right now he was as fast as ever. 5 championships under his belt and easily capable of earning more. His last championship was last year, having flown ahead of millie and ollie after the summer break.
Max turned to her and smiled. "this year will be fun" Millie returned the smile before saying "i hope so" with a sigh Max and Millie had always known each other through Lando, so were already good friends when they became teammates. Max knew about the real situation that happened with Ollie after overhearing Millie and Lando talking. He promised not to tell anyone and said he was always there for her if she needed him. He knew what she was going through and wanted to make this year special for her.
