From 1.02 "The Evening of Heartbreak", Gabriella, Malibu, and Briana Due Nae Puth are hanging out by the lockers.
"We're juniors now. We should live our teenage lives happily without interruption." Gabriella says confidently.

From 1.02 "The Evening of Heartbreak", on the road, Garrett Pella and Austin Yhala are bent down, looking at Emilia Maximus's limp body.
"I don't feel a pulse," said Austin slowly. "She's dead, Garrett."
From 1.02 "The Evening of Heartbreak", in Town Square, a missing poster of Leonardo Richie is stapled to a tree by Indigo Conner.
From 1.03, "Lady Killer", in her room, Indigo is talking to Jaylen Mackey and Frankie Gibson.

From 1.08 "Sweet Little Lies", in the school's parking lot, Garrett is being handcuffed by Sheriff Griffin Parkinsky.
"Garrett Pella, you are under arrest for the murder of Emilia Maximus," said Sheriff Parkinsky.
From 1.16 "A Poisonous Price", in an abandoned apartment, Gabriella and the others watch a video of Garrett and Austin hiding Emilia's dead body in a ditch.

From 1.12 "The Web of Hate," in the living room of the Yhala House, Austin and Mia Pella are glaring at each other.
"I know what you and my brother did, Austin," said Mia.
A look of shock and fear crosses Austin's face.
