chapter 4

Today is first day of collage again. The morning is amazing with warm September sun. Soo woke up at 6 am. Her super ability is managing to wake up at one beat and she is proud of with this super power. "I am not late" she thought and got up to take shower. But before she did something her phone started buzzing. " Oh My God, who is this in the early morning?" she said with pissed voice. She exactly knows who this early headache is. Her beloved but no so beloved friend. Rain bursted immediately saying : "hello sleepy head. Did you wake up? Are you even a human? How can a human sleep so much? Wake up!!!" .

"jeez. What are you? A tank? How can you be so fast? First of all, hello dear, good morning. Yeah I slept well. And second, why are you bombing early in the morning? It is 6:13 and you are starting to be weird again. By the way, when did you wake up?" this was bombing answer for bombing questions.

"I was gonna wake you up so you can't be late to see your love" silence filled the air. Soo was in her world as if she forget her outer world. It was not like the happiness when the girl is so excited to see her crush. It was pain. Pain that seeing her ex-love with another girl. She was in pain but this pain is not that strong as it was nearly 5 months ago. She is healing but still some words is stabbing her and reminding her that feeling. She snapped out of her thoughts when Rain said "are you okay?".

'Will you stop, please? You know there is nothing left between us. We are just groupmates, that's all. Nothing else. He has his angel now. So stop.' 

Rain could sense the sad rhythm of her voice. She knows everything, how Soo cried when everything ended, how bad she feels everytime she sees Mia and Ji Ho together, their laugh and their care for each other. But she thought everything changed and that bastard is not bothering her again but again she forgot- healing from this is not easy.

'okay, I am sorry. I won't remind him again. I was just kidding earlier. I thought it was funny.' Rain said with guilty voice.

'no, it is okay. It is already in the past but please, don't see us as a couple again.'

' I won't. but you know what sometimes it seems like he still cares about you. He stares at you without blinking even after your broke up. Maybe he is regretting it. Would you try to talk to him? I am telling this because I want you to be happy again without faking it.' It was visible concern. Soo knows why Rain is telling this. But no... no she doesn't want to feel that pain again.

'I know. Thanks for your concern but no. I can't do this. This is too much. Besides, he has a new girlfriend now' ' he moved on so easily' she whispered so that Rain could not hear her voice. 'and I don't need him now. I can find anyone better, right? So, no worries.' She laughed awkwardly but didn't take the same expression from Rain.

'okay, as you said. So don't be late. The first lesson is Mrs. Snakes's. You know her.'

' hm, bye'

After hung up Soo thought about those times that were so special for her. Now it is gone. For good, maybe. She looked at the time and chickened out. She was getting late. 'oh my gosh. You said 'don't be late' making me late. Stupid snake...' she shouted and run to the bathroom.

When she left the dormitory, it was 7.50 already and the class is at 8.00. She ran down the street without looking anybody. The only thought crossing her mind was embarrassment, the toxic words of the' new art technologies' teacher. She was the worst. She entered the university. The time is 8.07. maybe the Snake is late. Maybe they will have new teacher. When she came into the room with hurry, the scene she saw made her week. THE PRINCIPAL?! She is dead. She looked at Rain with unreadable look on her face and looked down. '...So sorry... I won't be late again. I promise'.

She sat down beside Rain silently cursing herself. To her luck, her teacher didn't manage to say something. And to her bad, this is the same teacher again. Now she is looking down continuously thinking about how embarrassed she was and how Ji Ho thought when she barged into the room. She didn't know the two pair of eyes are still watching her.... After the principal got out she looked up and saw two tall boys in the front desk. ' Mafia. Dark. Black. Lollipop. Ocean eyes. ' These were the words that popped her mind when she saw Yeo Joon again...
