I see you ahead,
laying on the bed.
Skin and bones.
Frail but smiling.
But I can't let the tears fall. You talk as if ull be here,
Christmas and next year.
Making all these plans,
they will only be words.
But I can't let these tears fall.I try to ignore the wires,
the bed and alarms.
You always smile,
I want to run a mile.
But I can't let these tears fall.I want to run away,
beyond today and over the hills.
Run past everything into the darkness.
Darkness take over, I beg.
But I can't let these tears fall.I can't let these tears fall.
I need them to fall.
But,
tears will form a tsunami unstoppable. So what can I do?
To save me from the fate of you?I won't let these tears fall.
I can't let these tears fall.
