I've had a crush on Sebastian for what feels like forever. Even though I haven't seen him in ages, he still crosses my mind from time to time. It was a Friday evening, and I was on the bus heading home. As a group of guys got on the bus, I couldn't help but look at them. And then, I saw him—Sebastian. I was sitting alone, hoping he would choose the seat next to me since the bus was pretty crowded. I didn't want to appear too excited or flustered when he sat down.
As the bus approached my stop, I pressed the button and prepared to get off. He kindly stood up to make room for me. However, as the bus swung towards the stop, I lost my balance and was about to fall. Just in time, I felt strong arms wrap around my waist—it was him. We stood there, gazing into each other's eyes, momentarily forgetting our surroundings. But reality quickly set in, and I apologized before stepping off the bus. The whole way home, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I couldn't wait to share this story with my sister!
As I was blabbering on about all this nonsense and delulu story to my sister, I suddenly got a notification on Instagram from him. Excitedly, I showed it to my sister.
"Are you free this weekend?" he wrote. I replied, "I think so, let me double check, but why?" My heart was racing with excitement. Then, he instantly responded, "I was hoping to take you out on a date, if that's okay!" I couldn't believe it. It felt like a dream, not reality. I quickly replied, "That would be perfect!" We exchanged the time and place to meet up.
Finally, the day arrived. I was going on a date with my crush! The first half of the day flew by as I took my time getting ready to look perfect for our date. Since neither of us had our cars, I headed to the bus stop. He had been staying at his friend's place since he lived in another city, while I was visiting my family for the weekend. Finally, the bus arrived, and despite the cold weather, I hopped on and sat next to him. My heart was racing as he held my hand and offered me one of his earphones. I rested my head on his shoulder—it was such a romantic moment. I wished it could last forever, but soon enough, we reached our destination.
He acted like a true gentleman, opening doors for me and pulling out my chair at the restaurant. I felt incredibly lucky to have him back in my life. We chatted about our lives, school, and other topics. When it came time to pay, I insisted on covering the bill, but he protested, saying the guy should pay on the first date. So, we made a deal—I would buy dessert, and he agreed. We strolled around town, exploring and being affectionate.
As the sun began to set, it was getting late for him to go back to his friend's house. The buses would be scarce at that hour. So, I nervously asked if he'd like to come to my apartment, and he agreed. I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. I reassured myself that nothing would happen beyond what I was comfortable with. As we got closer to my place, my heart pounded with anticipation.
I unlocked the door to my apartment and let us both in, hanging up my keys. Initially, it was a bit awkward since it was our first date and he was at my place, but we gradually became more comfortable. I told him to make himself at home while I changed into more comfortable clothes. We decided to watch a romantic spring movie. I prepared some snacks for us as we snuggled up on the sofa. At one point, we found ourselves gazing into each other's eyes, slowly getting closer until we shared a long, magical kiss. It was my first kiss, and it felt absolutely perfect and romantic. I was overjoyed to have him as my boyfriend.
As we started to feel sleepy, we decided to finish the movie and tidy up before going to bed. Before going to sleep we both put on face masks, did our skincare routines, and brushed our teeths. I was both nervous and excited since it was my first time bringing a guy home, especially someone who was my boyfriend, even though we hadn't made it official yet. We cuddled throughout the night—it was such a romantic day, and I couldn't have asked for anything better.
