As the evening approached, the maids were all abuzz with excitement for a special occasion with a Targaryen. Catelyn Tully, despite feeling a bit sheepish from her last encounter with the young princess, was leading the charge with a fake smile and more criticism than encouragement.
"You don't know when to give up, do you?" Rhaenyra asked genuinely concerned as well as shocked at her assertiveness.
"No, put the pig to the left, and don't you people have wine, we cannot serve a member of the royal family a poor man's wine. No matter when I am Lady of Winterfell, I will start by throwing you imbeciles out after I order every one of those blasted Face trees cut down." Catelyn told causing the fuming maids to scowl and roll their eyes.
"Cat" Ned growled, of course he knew she different before they were married, but he was still angry at her being inconsiderate.
"Ned, please tell your wife to shut up." Robert drunkenly said his face red causing Catelyn to gasp embarrassed.
"Remind me to piss in her wine later." One of the young maids said causing them all to snicker which surprisingly went unheard by the eldest daughter of Lord Tully.
This caused Daemon, Lyanna Aegon II, Tyrion and Robert to let out a laugh, embarrassing Catelyn even more.
"I need you all to put the decorations of the seven everywhere, a large star hanging over the high table, statues of the gods everywhere." She said in a cheerful voice.
"What in the seven hells are you doing woman?!" Brandon asked as he stormed into the main hall and was greeted by maids being forced to hang decorations of the false gods.
"Decorating for Princess Daema's welcome supper of course, though our first meeting was not what I intended having supper in the hall of the seven would surely bring us closer together and might I say close enough for her niece to marry our firstborn son to become the future lady of Winterfell and our daughter to my her unborn nephew and become queen, so our grandson will sit on the Iron Throne," Catelyn said gleefully with a mad glint in her eyes.
"I would never damn my children to marry any of yours." Elia spat to the woman she had come to dislike.
"Have you gone mad woman?" Brandon asked outraged.
"What do you mean husband?" Brandon visibly shuddered at the thought.
"Firstly, I am not your husband nor will I ever be, secondly you can't assume the princess follows the faith, after all, it's not the only and lastly Northerns don't associate with the false gods-" A slap rang through the air as the maids cease their doing, looking shocked at wha occurred.
"HOW DARE YOU, YOU NORTHERN SAVAGE!!!!" Catelyn screamed at him causing him to roughly push her into the wall.
"This will be your last night here, tomorrow at dawn, I do not want to see you, I do not want to speak to you. DO. YOU. HEAR. ME?" Brandon asked in an eerily quite voice causing her to
frantically nod, he then walked away from her causing her to run away and Brandon to sigh."Well that was quite....eventul." Visenya said at the same time as Ellaria.
"Well that was quite....eventful?" Ellaria stated, well more like questioned as she leaned against door frame.
"Lady Ellaria, is there something I can do for you?" Brandon asked her causing her to let out a chuckle and walk around before stopping infront of a star that represented the seven.
"The Princess does not worship the seven, but rather the fourteen flames, though I can assume you do not know anything about them, so the God gods will have to do." Ellaria said breaking the star and walking out without a second thought.
"That was kind of her." Helaena said looking up from her book.
"Kind?! She disrespected the faith, Helaena." Alicent told her angrily.
"And?" Helaena asked shocking Alicent and Otto.
"Well you heard her take it all down." Brandon gestures to them all.
