Piper tried her best to get over how the boys treated her, she really did. They're just stupid boys, it really shouldn't matter what they think of her. But she couldn't help but feel upset. It's not like she ever means to be annoying....

Okay, maybe sometimes she does.

But as she got ready for Lydia's party, she made a promise to herself to try to keep her mouth shut and leave the boys alone. How hard could it be?

Piper was used to getting in to fights with Scott and Stiles, they grew up together. But the cause of the fight, the tension from Scotts weird bite and new skills, just felt different. Piper sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was up in a bun, a few curly tendrils falling around her face. Piper wore a green and black plaid dress that ended just below her butt, a white tee shirt underneath. She wore platform black Converse. Piper put short black shorts underneath her dress, not wanting anyone to get a glance of her underwear if her dress rides up on the dance floor.

Piper even made sure her underwear matched. The brunette figured she wouldn't lose her virginity yet but she always liked to be prepared.

As she finished applying mascara, her phone buzzed.

Stiles:

I'm here

                                                                                                                                                                             Where?

Your house, dumbass

Scowling, she shoved extra clothes and some overnight essentials into a tote bag. Piper would normally stay the night at Lydia's after her parties. Her house has so many bedrooms, her mom gave the girl one of the spare bedrooms to stay in whenever she wanted.

Lydia said her mom was overcompensating because she always wanted more kids, but Lydia's dad struggles appreciating the one he already had. That was one of the things the two girls bonded over when they became friends in elementary school. Dads who weren't around can really bring people together. Even before Lydia's dad divorced her mom, the whole family unit was messed up. Piper knew what that was like. But now instead of Dads, Lydia and her just share moms. And two moms beats any number of dads.

Piper's feet pounded down the steps, stopping in the kitchen to write a note to her Mom reminding her she'd be at Lydia's for the weekend.

The girl stepped out on to the porch, turning to lock the door behind her, and walked towards Stiles' jeep.

Stiles was on his phone, obviously distracted, as she climbed in to the front seat. Stiles didn't say a word to her as he reversed out of the driveway and started the drive to Lydia's. They were a block away from Lydia's mansion when he finally deigned to speak to her.

"Tonight's a full moon," The boy muttered to her, as though he didn't really even want to talk to her but he forced himself to.

Piper groaned. "Literally nobody but you cares about this shit Stiles. Just drop it. You already pissed both me and Scott off with this weird hyper-focus obsession."

Stiles guffawed, "I pissed YOU off? You're the one who can't stop making sarcastic comments every second."

Piper scowled at him, "You do the same fucking thing, Stiles. Hop off that high horse."

Stiles gripped the steering wheel hard, his fingers turning white, "Okay chill with the cussing, you're like 12. Besides, it's cute when I do it." Stiles looked at her with his small little half smile that he knew no one could ever stay mad at.

Except Piper has seen that smile every day, for most of her life. And him basically calling her a child? She was livid. "Nothing you do is cute. You're just a little erratic, ADHD ridden pest." Her scowled deepened as Stiles looked at her as if she had grown a second head. His friends mood concerned him, she would normally fire back sarcastically and make fun of him. She was just being mean.
