Nikki's P.O.V

I arrived home and started getting ready for the date with Nate tonight I took a quick shower because I was all sweaty and gross after volleyball practice, so I went into the bathroom and did my bathroom business and put my makeup on which was a little bit of concealer, some blush, mascara, and some lip gloss. Then i went to my closet and picked out my outfit to wear( Nikki's Outfit Above)

I looked in the mirror once again to see how I look and I looked fantastic I grabbed my little satchel bag and opened it to put my phone inside it when I saw a text someone had sent me while I was in the shower.

You thought I was done with you pretty girl well you thought wrong i'm back and i'm not through with you i'm gonna finish what I started.

That instantly got me scared and worried because the only person that would call me pretty girl was Logan oh shit is Logan back in Omaha does he still know where I live oh shit oh shit I thought I blocked his number how does he have my number I should stop worrying about that and focus on my date with Nate tonight I really want him to be my boyfriend.

I was interrupted by my thoughts when i heard the doorbell ring that probably was Nate

"Oh so you must be Nate wow my daughter was right you are handsome" I heard my mom say while I was walking down the stairs

"Mom!?!"

"Sorry Sorry"

"Oh i'm Nikki's Mom Linda, and this is my husband Calvin"

"Nice to meet you sir"

"You too son" my dad said shaking Nate's hand kind of tight cause i saw him tense

"Daddy"

"Oh sorry you better take care of my daughter" he said letting go of his hand

"Will do sir"

While I was about to head out the door with Nate my mom pulled me to the side and whispered in my ear

"Better tell me all the deets when you get home and come home by 11:40"

"Mom you did not just said deets "

"I did and i'm trying to sound like the young kids you know like what up dawg? or Yeet and I even learned how to do the Nae Nae"

"Oh my God mom stop" I said walking over to Nate with my cheeks red from embarrassment

"Ready to go"

"Yeah and i will have her home by 11"
