Chapter 2

Abbie's POV
*after the short 15 min drive we finally pulled up to the district and we headed inside and we brought Mia into the break room*
Abbie:so Mia what do you know about the incident?
Mia:I saw a green van drive down the road at least 5 times from midnight to 4
Abbie:k is there any cameras around ?
Mia:yeah there's a few
Abbie:and what is the reason why you couldn't say this at your house ?
Mia:my boyfriend is a junkie been out and in of jail his whole life I just didn't want to get him into any trouble with the cops incase he was involved
Abbie:alright well I will get a patrol officer to drive you home
Mia:thank you ! So much
Abbie:your very welcome *smiles*
*Mia headed downstairs and the rest of the team came up*
Hank:who was that ?
Abbie:Mia Tomlinson she was to scared to talk at her home so we brought her to talk
Hank:get anything useful out of her ?
Abbie:she saw a green van go back and forth the road from 12-4 am this morning
Kim:yeah we got footage of a green van going back and forth
Jay:any plates ?
Adam:yeah
Hank:k run it through the system and see who it comes back to
Hailey the owner of the van is Derek wiseman he's 45 just out of prison for murder
Hank:got a address ?
Jay:yeah 34th Hilton road
Hank:suit up let's go get the prick
*we headed downstairs and got suited up in our vests and we all made sure we were loaded on bullets and we got in our cars and we entered the street we went dark and got out*
Hank:I want jay and Hailey to take the front Kevin and Abbie to take the left side and Adam and Kim to take the right and I'll take the back
Abbie:sounds good
*we all went to our sides and Hank told Jay and Hailey to bust down the r door and Hank went in through the back and all of a sudden I saw a man run out of the side door so me and Kevin ran after him and I was in the lead and Kevin was behind me and I chased him into a alley way and I held out my gun*
Abbie:Derek wiseman put your hands above your head your under arrest
*Derek doesn't movie so I pushed him to the he kind and got on top of him and slapped the cuffs on his hand just as Kevin,jay and Hailey came around the corner*
Kevin:god your fast
Abbie:that's what years of swat does to you *smiles*
Hailey:Swat?
Abbie:yeah 3 years
Hailey:god you are one hell of a cop then
Abbie:*smiles* guess so
Jay:you ok ?
Abbie:yeah why ?
Jay:you got some blood on your jeans
Abbie:oh I probably scratched it when I fell it's nothing
Jay:k
*jay and Kevin took Derek over to the house to get in a patrol car and I walked back with Hailey *
Hailey:you sure your ok ?
Abbie:yeah it was nothing
Hailey:well if you ever need anything you can call me
Abbie:will do !
*we made it back to the house and sarge came up to me*
Hank:Diaz your bleeding ?!
Abbie:I know I scraped it when I fell
Hank:fell ? What happened
Abbie:I chased him into a alley way I have him instructions he chose not to follow them so I took him to the ground
Hank:well as long as your ok that's all that matters
Abbie:I'm good sarge
Hank:k well get back to the district and get cleaned up and fill out the report sheet that Trudy is going to give you
Abbie:k
*I got in the car and Kevin got in shortly after and we  drove back to the district*
Kevin:are you sure your ok
Abbie:I'm fine ! It's a little scratch
Kevin:k
*we got out of the car and I headed up to Trudy*
Trudy:can I help you Diaz?
Abbie:I need a report sheet
Trudy:oh yeah here you go
Abbie:thanks
*I headed upstairs and I laid the sheet on my desk and I headed into the locker room and cleaned up my scratch before going back to fill out my report and after I finished it the team came back and Hank and jay went into the interrogation room with Derek*
Abbie:get anything out of him?
Kim:nope that's why Hank took him here
Abbie:very good did he lawyer up ?
Kim:not yet but he most likely will
*I sat at my desk and another cup of coffee got laid on my desk but this time it was from jay*
Abbie:for me?
Jay:yeah you look exhausted
Abbie:thanks ! It's been a busy day
Jay:tell me about it
Abbie:I thought you were in with sarge with Derek
Jay:I was but Hank wanted the cameras turned off
Abbie:oh
Jay:yeah
Abbie:so you weren't lying when you said that we don't follow the rules
Kevin:yeah I was not lying
Abbie:I see
*I sipped on my coffee and I relized I left out a question on my report so I quickly did that and then I finished that*
Abbie:where do I put my report ?
Kim:you bring it back down to Trudy
Abbie:k
*I took the paper off my desk and headed down the stairs to Trudy*
Trudy:good evening Diaz
Abbie:just dropping off my report
Trudy:*takes the paper* how are you liking intelligence?
Abbie:it's amazing ! I mean don't get me wrong swat pushed me to my limit but I finally feel like all the training that I did in the academy and through the last 3 years are finally being used
Trudy:yeah ! Intelligence is great for that ! It's a great place to start,end or to just relax for a bit
Abbie:exactly! I should probably get back upstairs
Trudy:k thanks Abbie
Abbie:no problem
*I headed back upstairs and I saw everyone packing up there things I checked my watch and saw it was 8:30*
Abbie:are we heading out ?
Kim:yeah Hank,jay,Adam and Kevin are staying with Derek but sarge said for the 3 of us to head out*
Abbie:ok !
*I grabbed my things and I packed up and I walked out of the building with the girls*
Kim:anyone down for drinks ?
Hailey:I'm down
Abbie:I wish I could but I gotta head home
Hailey:that's already Abbie ! Maybe another night
Abbie:yeah !
