[Y/n's POV]

―――――――

We soon arrived at the school. My heart sunk as my eyes fell upon the multiple news vans surrounding the area. Stu parked his car in the lot and we exited the vehicle. He walked over to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

"What's goin' on?" I asked. Stu shrugged.

"Couldn't be Michael Myers, it isn't Halloween yet." He said.

"And we don't live in Haddonfield." I mumbled. We walked up to the school building and entered through the doors. I walked with Stu to our first class and we sat down in our seats. We sat in the back, Stu on my right, a girl on my left, and Randy in front of me. "Hey, Randy," I whispered. He turned his head. "Got any idea why our school ended up in Hollywood?" Randy gave me a puzzled look in return. I sighed. "Do you know why the hell the news is outside?" I asked again.

"Casey Becker and her boyfriend Steve got murdered, butchered more like." Randy had a look of disgust on his face.

"Heh, really? How'd they get killed? Were there bodies chopped up?" I asked. Stu let out a small snort and I kicked his leg. Randy just glared at the other man.

"Nah, they were gutted like fish or something. Casey was hanging from a tree in front of her house, guts spilling everywhere. Her mom was the first to see her." Randy concluded.

"Narly! I wish I could've seen that." I said. "The smell would've been disgusting, but man, that must've been a sight to see." I chuckled.

"You're not horrified at all? Not squeamish?" Randy questioned.

"Randy, man, I've seen plenty of gore in my lifetime. I'm the horror movie fanatic; a raging fanboy, you might say." I smirked at him. Randy chuckled.

"That is true. I swear you've seen every horror movie ever produced." Randy said.

"Woah, woah, don't over credit me, I've watched my fair share of horror, but I'm not a crazed lunatic." I say. Randy seemed amused.

"Agree to disagree." Randy held out his hand for me to shake.

"Agreed." I say and firmly grasp his hand, shaking it. Randy turns forward in his seat as the teacher calls for attention. Stu reached over and placed his hand on my leg. He seemed a little annoyed, but a small smirk was on his face. I put my hand on his and intertwined our fingers. I moved my finger on his hand and traced the shape of a heart. Stu smiled as he glanced at me.

'Love you' He mouthed. I mouthed it back before I turned my attention back to the teacher.

Throughout the rest of class, Stu and I held hands and passed notes when the teacher wasn't looking. At the end of class, we both packed up our things and walked out of the room. We said our goodbyes to each other and walked to our next classes.

My next classes were the same as the last, boring and forgetful. Then, I was finally in my last class of the day. I was resting my head in my palm and looking out the window next to my seat. There was a tree that had started losing its leaves; almost every leaf was yellow, orange, or a light red. They had speckles of gold near the tips and specks of brown near the base of the leaf. There were some people riding on bikes and some walking. There was a group of young girls occupying the entire sidewalk and a biker speeding down the same side. 'This is going to be great.' I smirked at my thought. I waited patiently, it was all coming together. A large group of girls talking to each other, not paying any attention to their surroundings, and a biker staring at the ground, riding at the speed of light.
