Michael and I have been dating for over 5 years and we had moved in together. We were both into fantasy, medieval, and sci-fi stuff. We had a lot of replicas of famous swords and other items like that. We had a replica of the Sword of Gryffindor hanging up above the mantle in our living room of our townhome. I had the sword and I was acting like I was Neville in the final battle of Hogwarts. But what I was unaware was that Michael had just gotten home from work and had been sweet enough to buy us dinner. He frightened me and I whipped myself around, still holding the sword, and stabbed Michael in his chest. He collapsed on the floor.

"Oh god! Michael please be alright!" I screamed as I pulled him onto my lap as I put pressure on his ever bleeding wound that I caused.

"Babe?" Michael questioned as he looked up at me. "This is not what I meant by protect yourself against anyone who tries to harm you when I'm not around." He chuckled lightly, as he sat up partially to see how bad his wound was.

"Careful Mikey. Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I was just scared that someone had gotten in." I cried softly while Michaels' breathing slowed drastically.

"I know babe I'm just happy that you can protect yourself from any kind of intruder. Even if the first intruder was me." He cringed as he started to close his eyes.

"Michael! No! Don't close your eyes! Stay with me! You can not leave me!" I cried into the top of his head as I cradled him to me. He tried to take in more air but his wound proved to be too much. I tried to do compressions but it wouldn't work. I bent my head down slowly as I pressed a light kiss to his lips. "My darling, I love you and you shall never leave my heart." I said as I laid his body down as I took the sword and threw it in our fireplace to melt it down. I checked to see if any of the neighbors were up, but as the coast was clear, I moved Michaels' body into the woods behind our townhome. I buried his body and put a large rock over the place where I laid him to rest.

I walked quickly back to our place and checked to see if the sword was melted down. I was so lucky we were both nerds and we had molds that we liked. I grabbed the one mold that we had that looked like an amulet for a necklace. the mold was beautiful, it had four hearts and was circular. I quickly ran into our storage room to grab a bucket and ran into the kitchen to fill it up with water. I walked out with the bucket and set it next to the fireplace where the melted down sword was.I poured the metal into the mold and quickly submerged it into the water to rapidly cool the amulet. I knew that as soon as I was done with the amulet I would have to leave and start a new life. It is going to be hard especially without Michael. I could never tell the guys that I was the one who killed him. But I am going to miss them so much.

The amulet is finally cool enough to take it out of the water. I remove it from the water and place it on a towel to dry it off as I run into our bedroom and rummage through my collection of necklaces to find the perfect chain. I come across a beautiful sterling silver chain from a necklace one of my exes gave me so I take off the pendant and run back out to the fire place where the amulet is. I finish drying off the amulet and place the chain through the eyehole. I then close the clasp behind my neck. As I clean up my work station and put away all the pieces that I used and walked into the bedroom. I opened the closet doors and pull out a duffel bag and a backpack. I open up my laptop and booked the soonest flight over to America. Which to my luck is in an hour and a half.

I went into the bathroom and grabbed my travel size shampoo and conditioner. I walked back into the bedroom and put those things into the duffel bag. I walked into the closet and grabbed nearly all of Michaels' shirts and put those into the duffel. Then I grabbed nearly all my clothes minus the dresses that I owned because I hate dresses and it will help me save space. I grabbed the teddy bear that Michael gave to me for our 2 year anniversary. I made sure that the plane ticket was purchased and I checked the time. Half an hour. Okay I have enough time to go to the bank and withdraw my money. alright I have to leave this lovely home that Michael and I bought a year ago. But before I left I grabbed the picture that my uncle took of Michael and I when we went to the fair 3 years ago. I took one last look at the inside of the house. I turned around and shut and locked the door.

I had called an Uber and it was already here and I had them drive me to the bank. I've had an account with the Chase Manhattan Bank since I was 17 because I have been working for a while. As soon as i was finished withdrawing my money I had the Uber dive me to the Melbourne Airport. I had 15 minutes until my plane boarded but i wasn't in too much of a hurry because i knew this would be one of the last times that I would be here in Australia. As I walked into the airport I took one last look at one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I am not too worries and I am anxious for my next adventure to start but I am regretful that Michael cannot be with me.

I will always remember you my love.
