"You're not gonna win this game." Hailee says.

"Shut up and draw 2." I say putting the card down.

Hailee's jaw drops and I laugh.

"I was trying to play nice but now it's on." Hailee says as she draws her cards.

"Draw 4, bitch." Hailee says putting a card down.

I gasp and she shuffles her cards.

"Draw 4 more." Hailee says putting another card down.

"Okay-" I say drawing the cards.

"Oh, look another draw 4." Hailee says, putting another card down.

"Hailee-" I say.

"Draw another 8 while you're at it." She says putting 2 cards down.

I stare at her and she shrugs.

"What color?" I ask drawing the rest of my cards.

"Blue." Hailee says putting her last 2 cards down.

"Uno, by the way." Hailee says as I stare at her.

"You made me draw all of those cards for what?!" I ask.

"Comedic effect." Hailee says.

I throw the cards down and she laughs.

"Good game." She says.

She holds her hand out and I smack it away.

"You started it, I finished it." She says.

"Fuck you." I say as she laughs.

"I'm sorry, baby." She says, rubbing my back.

"Baby?" I ask.

"Mhm." She says.

"You just beat my ass and called me baby within 2 minutes." I say.

She laughs and I smile.

"Y/n." She says as I shuffle the cards.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Do you want kids?" Hailee asks.

"Yes." I say.

"Really?" Hailee asks.

"Mhm. Ever since I was a kid myself, I've thought about it. Thought about doing all the shit I wish my parents had done with me. To love my kid unconditionally, you know?" I say.

"You are too good to be true. You are a literal angel." She says.

I smile and she kisses me.

"Do you not have a good relationship with your parents?" She asks.

"No, they never really cared for me. They only wanted to have 2 pregnancies, a girl and a boy. Second time around they had twins - me and Tommy- and couldn't get rid of me. So I was just neglected. Felt like I was alone, like an orphan." I say.
