A Prime's love

Chapter three

Maria and Optimus arrived at NEST. Maria made it to the Medbay, and Ratchet caught something that humans can't detect. "Maria, I smell Optimus on you," Ratchet said as he was curious.

"What?" Maria asked. "Did you two...uhm...interface?" He asked. "Yes, we used protection and I'm on birth control, don't worry," Maria said.

"Why do you need that?" "You know how every female's cycle is either heavy, light, regular, and irregular, well mine was heavy and irregular and I ended up in the ER from losing too much blood so I started taking birth control a week after the hospital trip." Maria said.

Ratchet nodded in understanding. "It's a good thing you did. It's better to be safe than sorry." He said. Ratchet then smiled and said, "Well, I'm glad you two were responsible. It's good to see that you are taking care of yourselves."

Maria smiled too. Maria was busy working on an injury Drift sustained. "You are Optimus's mate?" He asked. "I am," Maria said.

"He chose a good femme, someone who truly cares about his health and you care for all of him not just for his rank and looks," Drift said.

"I fell for his looks, I won't lie, but yeah I fell in love with him because he's a good guy and he is respectful and loving," Maria said as she saw Optimus talking to Cade about the next mission.

Ratchet nodded in agreement. "It's great to see that you both take your safety seriously and keep each other safe. That's the sign of a strong team." He said, looking back and forth between them with a warm smile.

"And I'm sure Optimus is glad to have someone like you in his life, Maria. To care for him and have his back no matter what."

Maria was dropping some files off to the filing room, and she was alone and she didn't see or hear Briggs behind her. He jumped her and knocked her out.

Optimus went to find her but he couldn't, Optimue ordered a lockdown so he could find Maria. Optimus found the filing room and he saw what looked like a part of a soldier's uniform that belonged to Briggs.

Optimus grabbed his guns and he had some soldiers and Autobots join him to search for Maria they scanned the area and her signal was tracked and she was miles away from NEST.

Optimus followed her signal.

Maria woke up and she instinctively began to fight. "Get the hell off!" Maria yelled. "She's a fighter, huh, Starscream?" Starscream chuckled and gripped her jaw, and she spat in his face and he slapped her.

"You hit like a bitch." Maria said wiping her mouth. "That is why you will bear my sparklings, you are brave." He said. "I will never be your queen and I will never bare your sparklings!" Maria yelled.

Starscream grabbed her throat. "No one is coming, no one!" He growled and he dropped her and left Maria alone. Maria didn't move.

She lay there, her heart pounding and her breath coming in short gasps. She felt hopeless and defeated. She had tried her best to fight back, but Starscream was too strong.

She had to find a way out of this situation, but she didn't know how. Tears stung her eyes as she curled into a ball, trying to hold back the sobs that threatened to escape her throat.

She felt so alone and scared, and yet determined to find a way out. Maria heard gunshots and voices and the door broke and Maria was about to fight when she saw Optimus.

"Optimus!" Maria said as she hugged and kissed him. "We have to go-ngh!" Optimus grunted as he had been shot when he ran in. "Come on!" Cade yelled as he shot the Decepticons.

Maria grabbed a gun and shot Starscream in the head. Maria was grabbed by Optimus and ducked into an empty room.

Optimus held his wound. "Shit," Optimus grunted. "We got separated," Maria said.
