DINNER HAD JUST ENDED, and everyone was waiting for their headmaster, ALBUS DUMBLEDORE, to dismiss them for curfew. The great hall was filled with chatter from all houses as people traded their candy for other candy. One house was louder than all the others; this happened to be the Gryffindor table.

The famous marauders sat at the Gryffindor table, chatting loudly. Some of them included James Potter, who was unusually quiet and stuck in his thoughts. His other friends, of course, noticed that something was wrong with their talkative ringleader.

"Mate, what's wrong with you?" SIRUIS BLACK questioned with furrowed eyebrows, "Yeah, prongs, you've been silent throughout all of dinner." REMUS LUPIN followed up after Sirius, "And he barely touched his food," a scrawny looking boy named Peter PETTIGREW said.

"Nothing, I'm fine." was the only reply they got from the brown-haired boy who couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful Slytherin princess. He thought he had feelings for Lily, but now he's not sure, seeing as he hasn't even looked her way since they'd been in the great hall.

At the Slytherin table sat a beautiful black-haired girl named REGULUS BLACK, yes, black. She happens to be the youngest and only sister of Sirius Black. They weren't really close since he ran away, but she knew he still cared for her as she cared for him.

"Dorcas, I like him, and I don't know what to do," the black-haired girl whined to one of her friends. DORCAS MEADOWES "Well, you could really just tell him," the girl replied while eating a chocolate frog. "He likes Evans," Regulus told her as if it were obvious. "Well, he hasn't looked at her the whole time we've been here, but I've caught him looking at you."
