I told all my states to sit down at the table. Once everyone was sitting I started passing out plates. Once I was done I excused myself to my room. I walked in, it was cold. I walked over to my bed. It wasn't that old but it looked like it hadn't been touched since 1945. Which reminds me of something? Ehh must be nothing. I walked to my old dresser. Huh. It was a picture of me. Why did I look like that? Maybe there was something wrong with the photo? I flipped it over, 1944. Weird? That was close to the number on my leg. A year before. Wait. I don't remember 1944? I don't know what was wrong but I went back downstairs.

Ame: Do you guys like it?

Illinois: Yeah!

Florida: Can I have some ice water?

Ame: yeah, let me get you some.

I limped to the cabinet and grabbed a cup. I filled it with ice and water then passed it to Florida.

Florida: Are you ok dad? You're limping?

Ame: yeah I'm fine.

Maine: Can we see your wings?

Ame: I uh injured them but you still can.

I spread my wings.

Iowa: What happened to your wing?

My phone started ringing. I walked over to it to see who called. It was Canada.

Canada: You can visit tomorrow.
