I'm never seen,
Always overlooked for something else,
That shines brighter than me,
And makes me look as if I was not there. There is no time of day where I am appreciated,
There is always something greater,
Even if I make a great view,
It is never me,
And always, a background to them.I'm always there,
Waiting for a space to draw where no one else can,
But even if I draw with my whole body
I can't compare to them. When you shine so brightly,
And I am nothing more than dull,
I will cover you within my grasp,
So I could finally shine as brightly as you.For you, the moon and sun,
Who shine so brightly,
And never share your light with me,
I will obscure your light with my whole body. And even so, my beauty will always become obsolete,
and they will curse me for ruining the sight of you.
