SOUL'S POV
Soul had just won her 'ace' battle by performing a latin dance routine, earning her team two more points.
"Soul is insane. She's crazy good." JJ from DEEPNDAP whisper-yelled.
"I'm kinda scared of Soul, she's pretty much unbeatable." LADYBOUNCE's Capri expressed.
"Did you notice that INSIGHT's leader has used a different dance style for every battle she's participated in?" Harimu from 1MILLION questioned her teammates.
"You're right, she did latin, lyrical, sexy, jazz and was even able to beat Funky Y in a waacking battle." Amy agreed.
The fight zone was incredibly impressed with INSIGHT's leader's skills. Her talent was clear to everybody in the room and Soul was glad that she was able to prove herself atleast a little.
The battles continued for a while, INSIGHT taking part in quite a few matches, gaining respect from the other teams.
At last Kang Daniel spoke, "For your pride, and for the honor of your crew, you have engaged in a fiercer battle as you represented your country. I will now announce the final score of 'No respect, Battle with the Weakest dancer'.
Soul turned to her members and told them, "No matter how we place, we did good and I'm proud of us. We proved our skills and defended ourselves and that's all I was aiming for."
Her members gave her warm smiles, agreeing with her.
"In ninth place... LADYBOUNCE with eight losses and one win."
Said crew were already expecting this result, but it still hurt them. Soul felt sad at this, after all, each of them had worked hard and Soul knew how disappointed they must have been. She sent them an encouraging thumbs up, trying to convey that their efforts were not for nothing.
Daniel then proceeded with the rankings: 1MILLION had placed eight, TSUBAKILL - seventh, DEEPNDAP - sixth and JAM REPUBLIC had claimed fifth place.
It was down to the last four and INSIGHT's leader was getting nervous. She would be happy no matter their ranking, but she still held hope that they would atleast make it to the top three.
"In fourth place... team BEBE."
Soul breathed a sigh of relief, they had made it to the first three places. She applauded BEBE, and mouthed 'congratulations' to Bada as the woman opposite of her grinned.
"In third place is... MANNEQEEN."
"We're in the top two?!" Yena exclaimed, "This is insane!"
Soul awaited the final announcement with batted breath, her eyes shut closed and her thumbs crossed.
"The crew to place first in the first mission is... team WOLF'LO with twelve wins and one loss! Congratulations!" Daniel revealed.
"Does this mean we ranked second?!" Jia asked in disbelief.
The older three members were gaping at the results, unable to process this information.
"This leaves INSIGHT in second place with eleven wins and three losses!"
