The alarm pierced the early morning.
Chan rolled over and slammed his hand on the clock, groaning when he saw the time.
'Four fucking hours of sleep' he mumbled as he rolled out of bed and staggered to the shower.
Turning the water on, he let the cold wake him up.
He stood under the cold water, trying to fully wake up. His mind was already in over drive, he had a business proposal to finish up, a meeting at 10, 1pm and 4pm. He then had to meet with investors before heading out at 8 for dinner with his family.
Yawning, he finished his shower and turned the water off.
His coffee machine kicked into life, and he could smell the fresh beans roasting.
Grabbing a plate and some bread, he quickly made breakfast and a cup of coffee before checking emails.
Three new ones from the boss. All saying the same thing: "Don't forget the investors meeting".  Sighing, he downed his coffee, swept up the crumbs and headed out the door.

He walked down the street, the sun just starting to peak over the horizon. Turning a corner, he saw the school girl that lives near him listening to music, she smiled and waved before putting her head back down.
Chan grabbed a seat at the end and waited for the bus. He grabbed out his headsets and turned on the latest hits.

After waiting 15 minutes, the bus turned down the road. Everyone stood up and waited for it to stop. Chan stood to the back to let some elderly ladies on and some school kids who were running late.
He climbed on and quickly found a seat.
Getting comfortable, he knew it was still another 45 minutes before the bus got to his work.

Chan finally got to work, he was always early so he could grab a coffee and sit down to finish up any final touches on the proposals.
"Morning Chan, did you manage to finish the proposal?" His coworker asked.
"Just going over it now to make sure," Chan replied, not looking up.
The quiet room slowly started to become loud as more people walked in.
"Mr Bahng. Do you have the reports for me? " his boss yelled, startling everyone
"Yes sir, just finished them," he said as he stood up and followed the elder male into his office.
"So what do you think of this year's projection?" The boss asked, sitting down.
"Well personally, I think, if we offer a 1.5% decrease on the fees but lift the interest rates by .5% we should be in the green by the end of this quarter, " Chan said, showing the proposal.
" rerun the numbers and I'll get back to you" he said as chan stood up and left.

"Hey Chan, drinks after work" one if his colleges asked sitting down next to him.
"Love to mate, but it's my sisters birthday, and I'm going out for dinner," he answered.
"Maybe next time," he added as his college got up and walked away.
Chan looked at the clock and noticed he had fifteen minutes before the first meeting.
Grabbing his coat, he walked out of the office towards the elevator.
"Sorry ladies and gentlemen, if I'm late, I was just running a last-minute check on the plan," chan said as he sat down and then turned the computer on, showing the numbers and information.
After almost 5 hours with different clients, Chan was ready for home. He quickly checks himself in the mirror before leaving work.
"Hey guys, have a drink for me tonight. See you all tomorrow," he said as he hurried out the door.
The sun was just setting when Chan left for work. Looking up at the first few stars, he noticed a bright one.
"Odd Venus is out early," he said out loud as he ran to his bus.
