It's been a week since we started searching for the needles.
Throughtout the search we have run into large and small groups of soldiers. Thankfully we stoppied them dead in their tracks before they could tell the others about us.
Sadly, we found out that we are the only people left to fight.
We have seen so many of our planes beening shot down or our soldiers never making it across the darn 'red brigde'.
We still haven't found out who the soldier's who took over the town are or where they come from.
Laura: Soph, we might have it.
I was cut from my thoughts when she said that. I haven't realized that we had been walkong for awhile. I turned a little and saw a house that had it's roof blown off with a whole wall gone and a large hole in the centre of another wall showing the remaining funiture of the sitting room.
Earlier, we had come across a small group of about 10 soldiers. Thankfully Anna who saw them first ran into one of the run-down shops on the street. Me and the other's faught the soldiers but Anna took out the last one with her snipper aim.
Me: What you got?
Chloe: The needle.
I glanced at Justin who held the first neddle. He reached up and took the cap off the needle.
Justin: Shall i take it now or-?
He was cut off by Leah who nearly jumpied on him.
Leah: NO! You all have to take it the same time.
He just lookied at her confused.
Leah:*sign* Just wait for everyone esle to have one so you's can all do it together.
Justin just nodded and replaced the cap back onto the neddle before placing it into his back-pack.
Shawn: Great one down 7 more left.
Dylan: Guys i don't need the needle i remember, remember.
I turned to Emily to see her blushing. I almost forgot that he had kissed her before he left for training. I glanced back to my brother to see a small bit of blush on his cheeks.
Me: Ok stop Emily come here.
I pointed to the piece of ground in front of me. She hesitaged first but soon followied my orders.
I glanced around the group but my eyes set on Logan who had a evil grin on his face. Like he knew what i was planning. I gave a little nod and wink which he returnied.
Soon after he moved closer to me.
Emily: Emm, Soph, i've been standing here for about-
I cut her off by sticking my hand up to shush her. I contiued not to make eye contact with her so i watchied Ellen talking to Justin. I noticed a little excitement at the same time fear in her eyes. It was probably because Justin had the needle in his bag and hasn't used it yet.
Logan then finally said what i've been waiting for.
Logan: Hey, Dyl i need to tell you something.
Dylan who had been talking to Shawn on one of the broken walls of the house, lookied over to Logan with a confused look.
Me: What's with the blush.
I quickly said to Emily who hadn't noticed Logan or his attempet to get Dylan over.
Emily: Nothing really.
She blushed again making me giggle.
Logan: O hey Soph
I turned a little to come face to face with him.
Me: O hey Log, didn't see you there.
Dylan stood there lookied confused as ever. Out of the cornor of my eye i saw Emily was the same.
Logan: So you looking forward to finding more of the needle's?
He questioned.
Me: Yep, sure am.
Dylan: Hey em, by any chance you know what up with these two?
Emily: Not a clue.
Dylan movied a little closer to hear Emily a little better as me and Logan contiued talking.
Logan: Their getting close.
He whispered. I nodded and turned a little so i could still see Logan but i could also see my brother.
They had walkied off a bit in front of everyone who had taken seats beside the broken-down house.
When we could just about see them me and Logan started following them.
Logan: They are real cute together
Me: That's the first time i heard a guy say something like that.
He laughed while turning his attention back to the soon to be couple.
Logan: Come on we gotta make our friends a couple.
I giggled as we slowly made our way up behind them.
They then decided to sit down on a latge boulder which must have come from the house we found the neddle in.
Logan and i quickly hid behind a piece of large wood that was actually pretty close to the rock.
Dylan: So what was that all about?
Emily:I'm actually not sure. Soph never does that unless she's up to something.
Dylan: It was pretty weird though
Emily: I know right.
I glanced at Logan to see he was already looking at me.
Logan: Egh... should we.... egh you know
I giggled but nodded anyway.
We slowly creppied up behind the two who had turnied so they could see each other better.
I turned to Logan with a smile on my face to see him return it. We slowly raised up and i grabbed Emily's head scaring her while Logan grabbed Dylan shocking him. We didn't give them a chance to talk because we basically smacked their heads together.
Logan then grabbed Emily's head to insure that they would'nt break free.
After a few minutes he let go and they contiued kissing but it soon changed and got really heated.
I lookied at Logan with the atmosphere changing from glad to awkward. I tossed my tumb over my shoulder and he nodded instanly.
We then started walking back to the rest of the group.
Once we got back the group just smiled at us.
"What now?" Logan asked with a bored tone. "Nothing, but it was nice of you's to do that" Shawn joked while holding on to Janice.
"How was that nice?" Ellen questioned. "They got a relationship together" Laura commented making Ellen nod in approvel.
"Now who's next" i giggled and lookied around the group watching as everyone's faces became red all expect Anna who laughed along with Logan and I.
