Back to the present day, Dunken is about to meet with Caesar again.

Dunken: You may leave now, lad.

The Royal Guard: Aye sir!

The warden steps into the liege's chambers, where the ceiling mirrors a Stellar Swarm with unsettling clarity. Shelves with silver carvings, glint in the dim light, their surfaces etched with patterns that seem to shift when unobserved.

Underfoot, a magnificent Astral stencil resides like a projectile of the ceiling above the chambers, Elan Del Astris ' the markings of the stars'.

And there he stands, Caesar the cryptic courtier of the king and the people alike, a man of honor, the leader of the council quarters, and the liege lord of  Meliodone,  stands and carefully descends the ladder from the top shelf, and hastily mutters...

Caesar: Luma thyra alis, ar lumar thyra adis, nair gathor naira daris, nelis verum taura irian, en sares edor tanis " a lead to guide, and a lead to be the guide, none but one holds the imminent flame, and all but one can call for life, the plea of hope shall summon the first star".

Looks toward Dunken

Caesar: Luma toran ithra eldis "as he will always follow the light".

He perches on the edge of the desk.

Words of great value.

Dunken: Paulsen's?

Caesar: Aye, emblems of his vision and belief, carvings and stencils from every corridor in the palace, and every hall in the Labyrinth of the Skymines.

Dunken: Paulsen believed they were messages echoed from Elder times, by those who once lived here.

Caesar: He was not wrong, he wanted to share these messages with the people as he thought they deserved to know, deserved to learn.

Yet He knew that no matter how hard he tried to inspire and share this legacy with them, they would never see through it, they think of him as a weak dreamer with no sanity to bear life anymore, but the man never ceased inspiring hope.

He once said to me, "Prophecies evoke anger and shame for those who can't bear the truth, Tales inspire hope for there is little left of it in our world, if I Tell a Tale that bears one little bit of truth, I would gladly give my life for it, as I know the tiny bit of truth will grow to inspire hope once more, the magic of the tale".

Dunken: Out of darkness he fought, through darkness survived, inspired, taught, till he met his demise.

Dunken looks Caesar in the eyes with a sorrowed face

I want to ask forgiveness from you and all the people of Meliodone, It is unfortunate to say that I am indeed the embodiment of what I feared most, a beacon of false hope who couldn't protect his own friend.

He takes off his ring, valeryn "guardian oath" and puts it on the desk

Dunken: I fear I am not worthy of my oath anymore.

Caesar: The noble, the honorable, these are names we use to call people who we think are better than us in  their ways of life or death, but the most of us refuse to see it regardless of what it means , see, everyone took Paulsen for a delusional fool, blinded by his own words and false hope, but loved him as much as they loved his Tales, it is in their nature, to love the hopeful, it provides comfort for those who can no longer sense it, and that was the noble and honorable sense of humanity.
