1. This fic has been building in my head for a while now, and two things are what set things in motion for me. One of them is the amazing work of summerblack, an author I discovered on Quotev! I adore practically all of her works, but her story, Changing History, is what had a hand in inspiring Altering Time. If you're a My Hero Academia fan, you should give it a read! This fairy 10/10 recommends! The other inspiration that set everything in motion was a TikTok I was sent. If you're curious, I have a link set up in this chapter on my Quotev account (it mostly goes into detail about his opinion on the magical system JKR created, which I tend to agree with).
2. As always, I created my chapter covers using Canva, and will probably make an official book cover with it as well. I will be posting an update with credits and possible descriptions regarding character inspiration at a later date (which will get updated the more characters I include)!
3. Please keep in mind that I am a fickle bitch, with a tendency to lose inspiration and motivation at times. My updates will, like I say in almost all my works, be sporadic as fuck.
4. This will eventually turn into a various/reverse harem story, as I'm a complete sucker for them, and this story came to fruition for my own satisfaction. If that isn't your thing, I suggest you find another story elsewhere, or 'get gud' at skimming through the romance bits! It's undecided whether or not my OC will end up with multiple characters or if I'll provide alternate endings, but I'll keep you readers in the loop regardless!
5. While this story will be written in the second person, Altering Time is not a reader or a [Your Name] fic. However, feel free to use your imagination to pretend! (｡ •̀ᴗ-)✧
6. This is my first time writing a Harry Potter fic, so please have some patience with me. I plan on doing my proper research and keeping things accurate, but I'm not perfect and am bound to make mistakes. That being said, there will also be things I will change to fit my story. This is fanfiction, after all.
