After Richie told me his plan, I sat and thought the whole thing through agan.
"You sure it's going to work?" I asked.
"I hope so... Because they're an amazing band." Richie said.
"Yeah, and they were like brothers.. I don't think it's right that they broke up in the first place." Chelsea said.
"What was the reason to why they broke up?" Richie asked.
"It was something Steven said. They all got into this huge argument about the lyrics." I looked back down the hall to make sure Joey wasn't there.
"Do you know what it was Steven said?"
I shook my head, "Joey won't tell me. He said that it's better to be unheard."
"You have to get him to tell you what it was Steven said, or else the plan won't work."
I was silent for a few seconds, "I'll try. But not now. Later."
"Okay, don't forget." Chelsea said.
"Oh, I won't. The bands future depends on this." I got off the couch and went back to the bedroom.
Joey was just now getting out of the shower, he had a towel wrapped around his waist. He smiled when he saw me, "Good morning honey." He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek.
"Morning." I sighed.
"What's wrong?" He pulled back and looked deep into my eyes.
"Nothing... Nothing."
"There is something wrong. Come on, you can tell me."
I didn't want to ask him now, but I decided to give it a shot anyways.
"You love me right?"
"Of course. Why would you think I do-"
"Tell me what it was Steven said."
He sighed and let go of me, he walked over to the mirror.
"Baby?" I asked.
He didn't answer. He just got a shirt out and a pair of pants.
The room was silent for what seemed like for ever. I unfolded my arms and stomped out of the room. I felt Joey's eyes on me as I walked down the hall.
"Any luck?" Chelsea asked.
I shook my head, "He's being stubborn."
"Maybe he's right. Maybe it's better that whatever Steven said is to be left unheard."
"What do you think Steven could have said that was so bad to break a band up?"
I shrugged my shoulders, "No clue. It must have been really bad..."
