We sat in the living room, trying to come up with what Steven could have said.
"He could have insulted them..." I said.
"He could've.... But what was it that he said?" Chelsea said, tapping her chin.
"He could have said that they were the worst band ever.." Richie said.
"Maybe... Just maybe..." I said.
Chelsea and I sat and tapped our chins, trying to think something so horrible that would break a band up.
"It could have just been drugs or something. I mean, they do a lot of that." I said.
"Could have been." Chelsea sighed, putting her head on Richie's shoulder.
I sighed loud, "I just wish he'd tell us."
"You really want to know, huh?" A voice came from the hall way.
We all looked over at Joey who was standing in the doorway of the living room.
"Fine.. I'll tell you guys what Steven said," He came over and sat next to me on the couch, "Steven was telling us how badly we were playing, and how he wishes he had another band to play with, because we were so 'bad.' And he was saying that he hated us. And he just left. We tried for a while to find a new singer... But no one could compare to Steven. We tried contacting him again... He never answered. Then Brad left to give lessons to teenagers and young adults... Then Tom left to go into acting.. Then Joe and I decided it was better off if we just gave up compeletly."
"I can't believe you guys gave up so quickly..." I said, looking down at the floor.
"Yeah... Everyone thought that without Steven... There was no Aerosmith.
"With out any of you, there is no Aerosmith."
"We really do need to get the band back together." Richie said.
"What do you have in mind?" Joey asked him.
Richie told Joey his plan to get the band back together.
"I don't know if that would work... Steven is tough to get through... Especially since half the time he's all doped up." Joey said.
"Do you even know where he's at?" I asked.
Joey shook his head, "Not a clue."
"Someone has to know where he is... He didn't just fall off the face of the earth." Chelsea said.
