Chapter 4

Dabi woke up and finally had a full nights sleep with no nightmares. He looked at the beautiful man next to him and smiled. Hawks was still fast asleep and holding onto dabi. He kissed his cheek and grabbed his phone to check the time, his eyes widened. "Oh fuck-" he said which caused hawks to wake up and groan. "Mm...go back to sleep 's to early-" dabi sighs. "I need to call shigaraki-" hawks huffs and rolls over sour. "I'll make food after I call-" he kisses his cheek to which hawks softens a bit. "It's ok, just make ur call ok handsome?" Dabi smiles softly and nods and he gets up getting dressed and he went out of the room.

"What do you want?" Dabi said on the phone. "I wanna know where the hell you were." Shigaraki said on the other line. "I was....busy-" he couldn't come up with very good excuses. Shigaraki got mad "bullshit!! We're were at that hero's place again huh?!" Dabi groaned in frustration. "I was just trying to make sure he wasn't able to beat the deal...." Dabi really wasn't he wanted hawks to stay a hero he knew how important it was for hawks to do that. "Good. Also- uhm- toga kinda found something in your room so we put a new lock on it and it's fire proof- cause none of us wanted to see that- t h I n g-" dabi was confused and he remembered he had a hawks body pillow. "Tell her to stay out of my room!! I wasn't even there!!!" He heard toga giggle. "Yeah yeah she learned her lesson- anyway- wait what are you-" toga snatched the phone . "Soooo you were at the hero's house?!" She said cheerily. He sighs "yes toga I was-" toga giggels. "You two do anythiiiinnnggg??" She said like a teen wanting gossip. "No now knock it off and if I catch u snooping again I'll burn that fuckin teddybare to ash." She gasps "how dare!" He laughs "Hmpf!" He laughed more and hung up.

He went to the kitchen and looked in hawk's fridge. "Jesus-" it was all just energy drinks beer and water bottles. "Does this fucker eat?!" There was a small bit of fruit and oatmeal on the counter but the fruit seemed to be going bad and god knows how old that oat meal is. Dabi sighs and goes to kiego and cuddles him .  "Birdie " hawks grumbled in protest. "Have you b-" he was interrupted by a loud and fast banging on hawk's front door. Hawks groans. "I just wanna sleepppp-" dabi kissed his cheek. "I'll get it-" he puts on a mask his hoodie and sunglasses and he opened the door and got kicked in the face by miriko.

"Ah!!- sorry you scared me I was expecting hawks-" she looked at him confused. "The fuck?? Who are u?-" he was pissed off. "Someone Wh-" "heyyyyyy !!" He said , he managed to get some p'js on but he was using his wings to get around. "Omg bestie!!!" She said hugging hawks who was obviously tierd. "I brought u some cold medicine and-" her eyes widened as she saw the marks "oh your not like sick sick- your like "sick" " she said chuckling. "Lemme guess it was this wierdo?- really? Of all people him??" Hawks huffed and hugged onto dabi."well I like him-" hawks sighs as dabi holds him it took the weight off his back that hurt. "Also uhm....i need to put in my two weeks notice..." mirikos eyes widened "WHAT?!" She went to him worried ears down. "What do you mean?- you can't quit!!-" hawks looks down and away."I don't have a choice...." Dabi felt terrible. He knew the odds of the deal was unfair. Especially since toga had been the child kiego saved. He felt like shit. "But hawks-" hawks looks away from her. "F-fine!!-" she takes a breath calming herself. "You still have to talk to me tho ok? And we can still have our girls night?" Miriko and hawks would have sleepovers every Saturday basically just like a stereotypical teenage girl sleepover that's why they called it girls nights. "Yes of course- why wouldn't we??" She smiles softly . "Thank you hawks I really treasure you as a friend man-, oh! We have to have one soon I have been talking to this guy and I need to tell u all about him!" Hawks looked over "ohhhh!! Is somebody gonna get a boyfrieeennddd??" Miriko laughs and rolls her eyes. "Mayybeeee-" she said happily. "Alright well I'll leave u two too it yeah? See u Saturday? Normal time?" Hawks nods smileing waving her away as she left. Dabi dreaded the entirety of that interaction.

"Oh my god-" hawks looked up at him confused. "I knew u were gay but not like- that gay-" hawks rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah- well she's my best friend- sooooooo- yeah- also your one to talk Mr Emo-" dabi huffs. "But you my nice emo-" dabi glared."do I have to show u I'm not nice again?~" hawks eyes widened. "N-nope!! " he yawns. "Mm your warm - it's - uhh- it's good- yeah-" he was avoiding the word nice. Dabi sighs "back to what I was saying-" he sets hawks on the couch and takes off the mask hoodie and sunglasses and he sits with hawks cuddling him. "Have you-"

Then he got interrupted AGAIN but this time miriko just came in. "I think I dropped my keys he-" she saw dabi eyes wide. Hawks sat up. "W-wait it's not!-" miriko laughs a bit. "Wooooowwww- not expected- but this will make girls night easiar-" hawks tilts his head and processes. "Oh my god is it cheese?!" They had code words for people. "Yeeeaaahhhhh- we've kinda been talking-" hawks gasps."oh my god!! Why didn't u tell me soonerrrr!!!" She chukels "weeeelll maybe we could have a little double date- if we start dating-" hawks rolls his eyes "how long have u liked cheese now?" Miriko huffs "scince out first interaction-" hawks nods "and when did u two start talking?" Miriko rolls her eyes"I know I know it's just- now feels like the right time to tell him- sooo- anyway- bye!!" He waved bye. "...cheese?" Dabi said confused . "Oh you will see-" he snickers. "Oh!- you were saying"hawks looks up at him. Dabi holds his face. "have u been eatting?..." hawks looks away. "Uhm....n-no" dabi sighs. "You need to eat....you could get sick...." Hawks opened his mouth to protest and dabi stopped him. "Nope- you need to eat- will u eat if I cook for you?" Hawks nods. "Then it's settled I'll cook for you-" hawks tilts his head "well u can't do it everyday- I don't want to put that on-" dabi kissed him. "I'd do anything for you my angel" hawks eyes widened and he blushed. "Y-you-" hawks hides his face all flustered. Dabi chukeled and kisses his head ."I love you kiego" hawks smiles "I love you t-...wait what did u call me?" Dabi realized he fucked up. "How do u know my real name." Kiego looks up at dabi. "Well- see- I- uhm-" dabi sighs . "I'm gonna show you something....you can't tell anyone not even your best friend- do u have hair dye?" Hawks shakes his head no. "Ok I'll be back I'm gonna get some I'll show you when I'm back-" he got up and left. "Huh? Wait! I-I'm not mad!" But it was too late dabi was out the door wearing his hoodie sunglasses and mask.
