You were spinning. Round and round. And the world looked upside down
Bright lights blinding you, wrists and ankles tied together.

You tried to remember... You were at the dressing room.
The dressing room... and then?

"Ladies and gentlemen! Children and elders!"

Lyney.

"Please give dear Y/N a warm welcome!"

A roar of applauses and cheers.

Lyney laughed, "Right... now onto our final act of the night..."

That's right. The performance. You promised.

You squinted your eyes, struggling to adjust to the brightness of the stage. Your head was hurting and being tied upside down wasn't helping at all. You were able to make sense of a familiar face. Ferminet, was sitting in his usual front seat, right next to the stairs that led onto the stage.

How'd you get up here again? You couldn't remember. What was the act you'll be assisting Lyney perform? Ah... come on think.

"As you can see my fellow audience, Y/N is tied hopelessly upside down. Will we rescue them...?" Lyney paused, he was facing the crowd. You imagine him, smiling as he hesitated for dramatic effects.

"No. No, I will not. But...!" He pulled out a small pocket knife, "They will get a chance to escape and survive. Survive from what you might ask?" He turned to you with sinister grin, "From me."

There were some few murmurs among the crowd but all you could feel was the silent tension between you and Lyney. But you responded with a smile, while your insides were aching with panic and curiosity.

Lyney turned once again to the puzzled audience. "Now now, all you have to do is watch carefully and let your eyes be amazed!" He walked towards you, slipping the pocket knife in your pocket. "Oh... and fair warning, we have rehearsed this with ease so need to panic."

No you haven't.

He gave you a spin, and spun you did. You were going in circles. Twirling as you were trying to somehow, mentally, stop yourself from spinning. You just couldn't make sense of things. Just like the audience you were curious how this would play out; what was at stake here in this act. Because Lyney was the mastermind after all. It was his stage, and you were just part of his world.

"Now I believe having my dear Y/N try to escape from these tight ropes isn't simply enough. There's hardly any risk at all... so let's make things more exciting shall we?" He giggled.

The crowd gasped. At what? You wouldn't know, you were spinning slowly now but a migraine started to overtake your mind with it.

"Hah! This is my dear bow, it comes in handy at times..." He laughed to himself, "Do you see those balloons around them?" ... Now there were balloons?

"I will be shooting them, therefore it would become Y/N's counter to survive." There was a sinister smile behind his voice, "When the last balloon is popped, and Y/N hasn't escaped, then that's when the fun continues!" He laughed. "Isn't it exciting!

There were cheers. Literal cheers.
And a shiver ran down your spine. You were not only playing a performance.

However, an audible voice was heard. A voice that stood out from the high pitched noise. "What?!" It said. It sounded familiar. But you couldn't decipher who it was, all you knew was the blood from your body starting to flow down your skull. Well, it seemed death was inevitable tonight.
