Kurt waited longer, at least another 10 full minutes. But by that point; the shaky and heavy breathing was gone, and sobs could no longer be heard.

Kurt sighed, before putting his head down. I wish he knew how much I loved him back. Maybe he wouldn't have totally freaked out. Kurt thought to himself.

He paused looking at the door. His long arm slowly started to raise up and take hold of the door handle, slowly twisting it to open the door.

And there, sitting on the floor, was a sleeping Dave. His knees were curled up to his chest, his hands still somewhat in his hair and face, with his head laid back against the wall. All the stress and crying must have tired him out and put him to sleep, Kurt thought.
