Jayden POV :
The fire flickers in my eyes, causing weird shapes across the trees and forest floor. I know it is giving off heat, but I feel cold. I keep thinking of all I could have done to save my mate, but they took her.. and god only knows what is happening now. This must be how she felt, when Becca died. I wish I knew where she was, what they are doing to her.
What if they find out about the baby? What will they do to her??
Chris POV :
It's happened again. I've lost another sister, do to my lack of taking action. I should have ran faster, fought harder, but me, just like everyone else it seems, just gave up. Now, we have lost our true alpha. Yeah, Jay may be alpha male, but we all know Rhiannon led this pack. We have lost our alpha, and our hope.
Ryan POV :
What the hell happened? It all seemed to happen so slow. She was here, now she's not. We should be running after them, killing those bastards, but with Rhiannon went all we had. Our hope, and by the looks of Jay, our sanity. He sits there, staring at the fire like the rest of us, but something about him is different. The look in his eyes mirrors the fire; burning, ready to kill, but unable to move from it's place. Trapped.
Autumn POV :
Another bites the dust. First Becca, now Rhi... what the hell? Why can't people just leave us alone, we've never hurt anyone? At some point, the scale has to tip one way or another... we either make it out alive and save her, or we don't. And what about the baby?? Will it be okay?
I'm really starting to wonder what the rules of our supernatural world are... and why someone is trying to change them.
Tony POV :
We're fucked. I'm sitting here, ready to run, ready to fight for the person that took me into her pack, barely knowing me, and we're all just sitting around staring at the damn fire like it has all the answers. But I know it's better not to say anything, everyone seems to be in a state of mourning. I hurt to, but at least my head isn't up my ass.
If you're so upset about her being gone, why not save her???
Jayden POV :
I've had enough of this. I stand up, and everyone jumps, as if they were in a trance.
"We have to leave. Standing around isn't going to get her back."
"Jay, we're all exhausted-" Chris starts.
"We have to go. Last I checked you aren't alpha."
"And neither are you!"
"I am alpha male. Now I recommend you know your position, beta," I snarl. He looks down, stepping away. "She would've ran day and night for us, and we'll do the same for her."
"And what exactly will we do when we find them?" Tony asks.
"We'll get her back."
