"And the principal is the sum of money that remains constant for every year in the case of simple interest-" The teacher was cut off by the bell indicating lunch break thank god it's not like the teacher was a good explainer or maybe I have low attention spam. I saw the teacher sigh and say "Fine I will explain the rest tomorrow and practice everything." This was something she told us almost every day and finally left the class.
Stuffing my stuff in my bag when Wang Fang came with others and asked "Let's go to the ground and have lunch, the weather is nice as well. What do you think?". Who was I saying no obviously I said nor there was smth to say no about. We headed downstair and well it was too crowded since everyone wanted to go to the canteen and buy their favorite item before it sold out
. As we were walking toward the ground Han Zi asked "Do anyone of you have money today?" Wang Fang replied being a sarcastic tone "Zi you shouldn't be asking that especially when we have been friends for so long. I mean just say money- no you don't have to even say money, just look at our sugar mommy and she will give you money" she said that looking at Nuo Yi. Meanwhile, Nuo Yi just laughed and said "WANG FANG! What do you think of me huh? Do you think I'm made of money-?" she highlighted her last three and ended her sentence with a kick on Wang Fang's legs causing her to fake trip. I swear to god if Nuo Yi and Wang Fang were siblings they would be plotting each other's murder at first second and then be hugging each other as if they are seeing each other after years by getting separated years ago. "You all don't need to rob Nuo Yi today," I said giggling "I stole money today, did not steal technically cause Mom always kept some change money on the dining table so that I and my brother could use it". "Daaaamnnn""Btw Zhi didn't you tell me Your brother was applying to some universities for higher studies?" I looked at Han Zi and replied, "Yeah he applied to many universities, I remember one of them being the University of Shanghai. By the way, did your brother shift all his stuff in his dorm?" my brother and her brother were not of the same age but my brother took a year drop. "Yeah, he did. I hope your brother gets into a good and well-known university".
We finally reached the mess and sat down to eat. "Btw Zhi when you were absent yesterday we saw some seniors." I looked at Fang. She wasn't the kind of girl to randomly speak about some seniors or maybe it was related to her brother maybe I guess because her brother was the head boy of the school. "And?" I asked her out of curiosity "They were kinda good looking not gonna lie." "ohh and what is supposed to do with me.""I think they are Your ideal type." "GIRL, I don't my ideal type myself" I chuckled "How do you know my ideal type ?" I highlighted my last six words. "No, they were for real good looking. I mean look at me myself Im saying" Zi jumped in. I mean I have seen Zi's type but they were EXPENSIVE KIND OF GUYS but I didn't believe her I just thought they ganged up and were pulling some joke. It was not the first time they pulled some joke but once they saw some bulky-ass senior guy and the next day I really saw some bulky guy. But anyway I am in my no-crush era (A/n: let's not pretend like I didn't see some harmful amount of enhypen's edit today)."I don't know, seeing some good-looking boys in our school is like seeing the moon during the day time" I diverted the topic.
"Btw wanna hear something funny?" I spoke up. "Here we go again," Fang said which was continued by Yi "Do we have a choice"."Even if you all say no I will still say it, Sooo Why did the lobster blush?" I started laughing before I could tell the whole joke. "No I don't know and don't even tell why a fucking lobster blushed," said Nuo Yi. "Because it saw the Ocean's bottom!" I burst out laughing as hard as ever did. Some other students must probably think I am crazy. I was anyway I kind of person who said very bad dad jokes and started laughing at the same jokes. I saw my other three friends just blankly staring at me, I tried to hold my shit together but once again started laughing this time all three of us were laughing not because of how good my joke was but because of how badly bad it was.
We all got finally silent Wang Fang held her bottle of water and before she drank it, she narrowed her eyes and threatened us "You all better don't-" As she continued to take a first sip of water it was interrupted by Nuo Yi "Water going down the throat~" Fang almost pilled the water from her mouth. It was an inner joke she invented a few months ago and always used on Nuo Yi and MAde her laugh and spill water from her mouth. As I told this duo was always like a cat and dog duo.
I looked at my watch to see the time, there were only four minutes left to lunch break to get over. I shifted my eyes from my watch to see in front of me. I announced "Let's get going, I don't want to miss my mommy's period." my mother was a teacher at my school the next period belonged to our favorite English teacher. We didn't like English but we liked the teacher we were like our mother in the school and also little other than our mother I guess she was kind and patient with whatever she used to teach.
This reminds me of that one time when it was English period and Nuo Yi and Han Zi were absent so it was just me and Wang Fang. So what basically happened was that Mrs. Yu gave us homework for an essay starting with the following words 'I woke up at midnight to a loud sound' and in continuation with that she was discussing about some girl's essay on this topic she said "The girl wrote was a fire which was caught in the house in front of her house. How do you think she helped?" get ready with Fang Wang Replied. She said "ShE pOuReD wAtEr" Yup Fang said that with full confidence without realizing what she said of course it was well extroverted to say that in front of the whole class. The whole class along with Mrs. Yu started laughing. Mrs. Yu said "Okay Fang. Well, she called the fire ambulance but you poured a bucket of water very helpful to stop a house from turning into ashes which is on fire." Fang was so embarrassed due to her sudden actions that she hid her head in my lap lol.
As we were going back to our class. Han Zi elbowed me and said, "Looks at them, those are them were talking about-".
