Dynasties and Dystopia - Denzel Curry, Gizzle, Bren Joy

January 29th, 2028

It was still night, and the effect of the anesthesia had passed

Thank You, healing

He thought, sarcastically.

The fight with Elijah had been the last straw to knock him out.

He disappeared, finding himself sitting on the bed, in a small apartment

"Holy fuck, Ash! How did you get in?" a woman appeared from around the corner, in a bathrobe, and with wet hair "I don't have to ask, huh?" she answered, to his silence, and approached him

"Can I stay here for the night?" her name was Paige Queen, she was a rather childish woman, for her age, she must have been in her thirties this year.

He knew general things about her: that she worked in a museum, that she came from Central America, that she had a brother, and that she liked those a few years younger than her, nothing more, things that were learned over time.

They didn't love each other, Ash hadn't loved almost anyone he'd slept with, and the same was with Paige, but they had fun together, so they were both okay with it.

She stood between his knees and untied the knot on the waistband of her bathrobe, taking it off and showing her olive skin, marked by the tattoo of a moth whose wings opened just above her thighs, she bent over him and pushed him further back onto the bed, she put her hand on his chest, caressing his stomach. She dragged her fingers up, up to his neck, when he reversed the positions, going, aggressively, for her neck, her hands running along his body without being waited, the rubber band on his hair that slowly came off because of the movement – Ahh...  pricky boy... –.

Where was Ash?

He couldn't find it, he had left the house, he saw a garden shed, the LED light still on inside.

He entered it suddenly and found two girls in front of him, one of whom was tied to the bed, while the other was staring at him perplexed.

He lunged forward and hugged Freya "Brother!" the other turned to him "Oh, she's Mila, she's a nice girl, her brother was in the ANM too, Asher" Mila looked at her

"Ash" Jay picked up the stitches "Did Ash get you?" he saw the collar

"Oh, now that you're here, you can take it away from me, can't you?"

"I'm sorry, Rei-Rei. We don't want to make Ash angry, can you hold on until the day after tomorrow? Let's just wait for things to calm down. You have to promise me that you'll prove to yourself... kind, to them" he hesitated

"Asher, too?" he odded

"Especially him. He's an asshole, but he's strong, you couldn't even dream of beating him" a little laugh escaped her

"Really? Is Ash that strong?" Mila asked, and he nodded again

"Yes, and it's extremely humiliating" he wore his hair down, it reached the tip of his nose, but he hadn't felt like cutting it in the last month "He's the most feared person in history" she had been terrified by his gaze, by his face, by every single part of him, which radiated a mixture of anger and fear

"I see" she lowered her head.

He woke up in bed, alone, watching Paige dress up to work.

She worked as a guide in a museum, but she had a lot of fun explaining the various finds, her's was a real passion

"Hey, kiddo. I have to go, take a shower, get something to eat and stay as long as you want" she blew him a kiss, and he acted as if he had hit him, throwing himself back theatrically

"Have a good day, Paige!" he said, before she left.

Then he laid down with his arms outstretched, occupying the entire bed.

Did he really have to go back?

Yes, he couldn't leave Jay and Freya alone with his siblings.

He got up and went into the bathroom, the water was cold, but in a way pleasant, he pulled his hair back and leaned against the wall with his back, dropping the water straight into his face

Eli... Mila... have I really been that bad? Have I really been so horrible to you?

When he got out, he realized he had no clothes with him, and had them appear from his home in Washington.

With a snap of his fingers, he tidied up Paige's entire house and returned to the little house on the lake

"Here I am" he sighed, before seeing Jay come out of the corner. He walked slowly towards him and stood in front of him, silently, there it was, a bad feeling "Where is Elijah?" Jay hesitated for a moment, then pointed back, pointing to the kitchen "Can I have some time?" he nodded

"I'm going to wake Freya, she's fallen asleep with your sister" Ash looked at him

"You found her."

"Not that it was difficult, you're keeping five of us in a house, it was inevitable that I'd find her"

"Don't take off her collar"

"You can't keep her tied up for days, she's a good person, I can swear to you on myself"

"She didn't look like it when she tried to kill me."

"She thought you had hurt me"

"Take off the ropes, but the collar remains" and he went to the kitchen.

He saw his brother sitting at the counter covered with a marble slab drinking a glass of orange juice.

He didn't greeted him, he just looked at him badly when he entered and then went back to looking at the void in front of him.

He sat down in front of him

"I'm sorry" he looked into his eyes, they were incredibly alike, weren't it for those irises, gray for Ash, and pitch black for Eli

"What for?" he gulped

"For everything. You were right" the boy finally looked up, straight at him, with a bit of surprise "I never told you anything, but it's not exactly... easy for me to talk about it. It's something that's been torturing me inside my whole life, and to share it with you would have been like pulling you into all of this" Elijah put his glass down on the counter

"Ash, I want to be in all of this. I want to be by your side, and to do that I need to know, like Mila, I bet. I want to understand why you did all this, what you went through, everything. I want to know everything about you, as you know everything about me. Will you be able to tell me about it?" he mustered up all the courage he had.

After telling him that, everything would have changed between them, no matter how hard he tried to keep things the same

"Are you sure you want to know? You're not going to look at me the same way after that" Eli nodded, and Ash inhaled, trying in every way to muster what little courage he had "Okay... It all started when I was 4 years old...".
