On the outside, He seems to be a happy camper - however, His mind is swirling with hateful thoughts aimed at Himself. He meets Her, who is particularly careful in picking who She does and does not trust. With Him, She may have chosen too quickly, and the mild hatred overcomes both of them and becomes mutual. In His swirl of a mindset, He finds himself falling towards Her for guidance and reassurance.
This pair can start somewhere together, both in a play-hate kind of situation - only He is teetering on the edge of confession and something has just happened to Him that sparked it, so he goes to Her to ask for help. The pair can pick what's just happened, and decide when He confesses to Her.
