I begin the final final procedures, before landing on the ground with the other Tel'taks and Al'kesh in the landing strip, on Tallourn of the God Vashmaur who, I couldn't help but admit, has gathered a very large host for war against some unknown foe.

After opening the Tel'Tak Doors, I get up myself with my co-pilot along with the troops to get out and after splitting up, I head to one of the many gathering places around the city which shows the God Vashmaurs Splendor. I even take a moment to reflect how this mighty host had come about. If my memory serves, a patrol went missing on Tallourn, a small one but still a mighty one as they were led by a Maa Kheru which from rising rumors were going to be retired from service which was slightly disappointing but, nonetheless it was the will of the gods.

Finally after a while, I noticed a Jaffa only tavern and headed inside where many of my fellow warriors of my Lord Kashir, some from the God Valein, a smattering of the God Hoark were here plus one or two of Vashmaur's Ilk in the corner, already getting slightly drunk so, I joined up and listened to the rumors.

Apparently from one of Hoarks Jaffa, he managed to figure out there was over at least 2,000,000 Jaffa alone that both my and his plus what Valien had sent, that's not even counting the Maa Kheru or the Heru'ur Guard or the Udajeet and Semerkhet Death Gliders, Cheops plus the Djet Ha'taks which, I was slightly named after by my father for good fortune.

I grew worried there was no need for this many Jaffa unless your enemy was just as mighty or... the God Vashmaur was planning to expand his territory which was greatly frowned upon by the High God Ra despite this many still try to get around this rule though that was mostly Minor gods like his and Vashmaur.

He Decided to not think about it and return to Drinking hoping that it's not the omen of something worse.

I was overlooking the Training of the various companies of Maa Kheru, as we took are training and dedication much more seriously than the rank and file of the Jaffa, the only ones who took training much more seriously than us were the Heru'ur guard but, they were given the honor of protecting the gods so it stood to reason why it was so.

Regardless I stood vigilant as the Maa Kheru of Various Gods trained and got used to each other so that way there was no disunity on the battlefield. Disunity was the killer of armies and led to the death of many Jaffa, I refused to allow it within the Maa Kheru that was placed under my command which was ordered to me by my God Vashmaur.

Still, I couldn't help but frown as the persistent rumors that sooner or later, the Maa Kheru would be Retired from battle which gives me a heavy heart as we are a very loyal and dedicated faction in the Goa'uld army but, the only reason were being retired was because the need to standardized the Jaffa was growing more and more apparent as there was no need to spend resources to field anything like the Maa Kheru.

I frown, I know that Whatever foul beasts attack the patrol were dangerous but my God was playing a dangerous game not allowing us to tell the others in our temporary service to be ready for war, despite this I don't bring it up as I cannot back talk a God and get away with it despite my God Vashmaur listening to my advice from time to time, depending on his mood.
