NANLAKI ang mata ni Rocket nang magdikit ang labi nilang dalawa ni Regan. Hindi agad siya nakagalaw sa kanyang kinatatayuan dahil sa pagkagulat at nanatiling nakatitig sa nakapikit nitong mga mata. She tried to push him away but Regan hold into the back of her head and kissed her deeper. It felt like all her energy drained as his lips was moving slowly yet passionately. His lips was sweet yet the bitter taste of blood from his wound was mixing with this intimately wet and possessive kiss he's giving her.

NAGISING si Regan sa sikat ng araw ng tumatama sa kanyang mukha. He looked around and found himself in a small, studio-type apartment before he turned his gaze to the woman sleeping peacefully beside him. Hindi niya alam kung anong oras sila natapos ni Rocket sa pagsisiping pero bago siya makatulog ay sigurado siyang papasikat na ang araw nu'n.

It was already three in the afternoon when Rocket woke up. She was staring at her while clutching the blanket to her chest and Regan remained seated on the chair beside the bed and stared back to her. Walang nagsasalita sa kanilang dalawa at hindi din naman niya alam kung ano ang mga salitang sasabihin matapos ng nangyari sa kanila mula kagabi. Nang tumayo si Rocket sa kama ay bumaling ang tingin niya sa pang-upo nitong may marka ng kanyang palad. Tuloy ay mahina siyang natawa na kinatingin nito sa kanya.
"What?" asik nito na agad niyang kina-iling. "Bakit nandito ka pa?"
"Why not?"
"Umalis ka na." Malamig nitong sagot at dumiretso sa banyo. Hindi naman niya sinunod ang sinabi nito at inantay na lumabas ang dalaga sa banyo. Nakadamit na si Rocket nang muling lumabas at kumunot ang noo nito sa kanya nang makita siya. "Sabi ko umalis ka na 'di ba?"
"You want me to leave after you forced me to have sex with you till sunrise? That's a little harsh, baby."
"W-what—"
"Ah, don't you try to deny it Rocket." he said, grinning. "I could still remember you whispering to me that you want more, and you asked me last night to not stop fucking you."
"Shut up!" namumulang mukhang sagot nito na kina-ngisi niya. Katahimikan naman ang bumalot sa maliit na apartment bago siya tumikhim at umayos ng pagkakaupo.
"I just want to discuss few things to you, Rocket." Aniya at seryosong tumitig naman ang dalaga sa kanya. "First, I am not lying when I told you last night that I didn't kill your parents. I lied because I am sure that I will discard you once I content myself fucking you but because of those accusations you spurted to me, Cain told me that East is the one who killed your parents. I couldn't remember anything from the past and it still makes me wonder why that's why I kept my mouth shut while trying to investigate the things that happened before."
"And? What do you want me to do about it? Make me apologize because I blamed you for killing my parents?"
"No. I don't need your apology because what I did to you before was heavier than being accused of killing someone and I actually pretty much accustomed of hearing those words from other people but yeah," he paused and clicked his tongue. "I'm sorry. I really do, Rocket. For everything that I did to you for the past five years and to all the threat I told you; for wanting to kill my own sons and for all the hardships that you've been through, I'm so sorry. I am not expecting you to forgive me, but I hope you can listen to the things I want to ask you."
Rocket didn't answer as she was staring at him dubiously. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang iniisip ng dalaga pero pakiramdam niya ay may nag-iba dito at hindi niya mapunto kung ano.
Was it because she wasn't acting impulsively like before or is it because Rocket was looking at him sharp-eyed as if waiting for him to make a wrong move and he's dead. Regan could feel the tension in the way she stared back at him. Ngayon lang niya ito naramdaman mula sa dalaga kaya panigurado siyang may nagbago dito mula sa maiksing oras na hindi sila nagkita.
"Let me hear it." Anito makalipas ang mahabang katahimikan.
