Broadway Bound

Chapter 10

{Meredith's POV}

I am woken up by the sound of a garbage truck outside of my apatment. I check the time. It's 10:30. Damn it, Harry'll be here in 2 hours!

I take a lightninng fast shower, dry and curl my hair, and decide what to wear. I settle on a pastel pink skater dress, white ½ sleeve cardigan, and some tan flats. Just as I finish getting ready, I hear a knock at the door. It's Harry.

"Hello, love. Don't you look beautiful today." He says as he sticks a light pink rose (thorns cut off, obviously) behind my ear.

I glance behind his shoulder and I see Sierra, who is wearing a really pretty, mint green skater dress, like mine and some white heels. She has a yellow rose behind her ear. Those are her favorite! Ramin has his arm tightly around her. They are SO cute together!

"Where, may I ask, are we going?" I ask Harry.

"It's a surprise, youll have to wait and see!" he replies.

Sierra gives me a huge smile.

We walk to our venue for a REALLY long time.

"Damn, I shouldn't have worn these heels!" Sierra says.

"I can help that!" Ramin replies, picking her up and carrying her like a baby.

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!" I mentally scream.

Once we reach our destination, it says, 'welcome to to central park'. We walk a little longer and then I see a red and white checkered blanket and woven basket laid out underneath a willow tree. We are having a picnic!

"Aw, you guys this is so sweet!"says Sie. Ramin blushes.

We sit down on the blanket. It is such a perfect day for a picnic! Harry pulls out a wheel of cheese and a loaf of french bread from the basket. He cuts a piece of bread, puts some cheese on it, and hands it to me. I eat it, and it's really good.

"Wow, this cheese is really good!"

"Thanks," Harry replied. "I made it. Grandmother's recipe."

"Well then, you are a very good cheese maker, Harry." Sierra chuckles.

Lunch was so good! Ramin had brought sandwiches from the deli for everyone and Hadley made a cake for us, with EXTRA ICING!. Oh Hadley and his love for icing. One time during Phantom 25, He brought a tub of frosting to rehearsal and ate the whole thing with this finger!

After eating and laughing our heads off for a while, Ramin says, "Excuse me for a sec." He takes Sierra by the hand and they go over to her favorite tree to climb on in the park, which is in my view.

{Ramin's POV}

"Excuse me for a sec." I say, leading Sierra to her favorite tree in the park. We climb up and sit on one of the branches. My fingers pull Sierra's chin toward my face, her beautiful

green eyes locked on mine.

" I need to tell you something," I say softly.

"Sierra, you're my best friend, and have been for quite a long time."

I take her hand.

"But over these past couple months, I've started developing feelings for you, like REAL feelings. That was one of the reasons why I split with Mandy.

Sierra gasps and lets a tear roll down her cheek.

"Sierra Marjory Boggess, I love you, and I hope you love me too."

She lets out a sob, I hope of happiness, and hugs me tight. I feel so much comfort in this. Then, she lets go, and I slowly lean in to her. Her lips gently press against mine. I'm so happy, she loves me back. We break apart sooner than we should have. Then I jump off the tree. Sierra hesitates.

"It's alright, Sie, I'll catch you!" I say to her.

She takes a deep breath and jumps off only for me to catch her. She leaps into my arms, laughing.

God, I love her so much.

{Meredith's POV}

Oh my goodness! I have just witnessed Rierra happen for the first time! Ramin comes back from the tree, with Sierra in his arms.

"You guys, that is so cute!"

Sie giggles. This double date was most definitely successful!
