The massacre at Alton Towers had occurred on the tenth of May in 2018. The night of the incident after he fled the lodge, there was CCTV footage from around the park, showing the murderer making his way toward somewhere. Roughly two days after the incident, located a little over a mile away from where it occurred, there was a landmark known as the Chained Oak Tree and upon a report by someone strolling through the area, they found a white Hollister hoodie stained with dark, dried blood alongside a video camera and a powerless iPhone that had a cracked screen; all had been discarded by the giant tree. Alton Towers Resort had been closed indefinitely as cleanup and investigations underwent action and the search field had expanded. There were absolutely no signs of him after the Chained Oak Tree items had been collected.

The locals demanded answers as to why this happened. They wanted to know where the culprit was and why he hadn't been found yet. How did he get away so quickly? Lewis Dawkins was all over the news and the search for him was repeatedly hitting dead ends. With a mass murderer on the loose, no one in the general area of Staffordshire felt safe. They could only hope and pray that the murderer would be found and no one else had become a victim of him. Nobody knew whether or not he was still armed, nobody knew if he still wanted to cause harm to anyone in his path... wherever he was now.

It wasn't just the locals that had been talking but a whole storm had happened online, especially in the gaming community Lewis had based his YouTube channel around. Hundreds of thousands of users were devastated to learn about the tragedy that took place. Statements were made about the criminal and the victims, many were unable to process the sudden loss of the beloved group. It didn't take long for photos and videos of the incident to be leaked online, there were users that genuinely cared for the victims and their loved ones that would be affected and begged for others not to share the media around. But then there were others that used the situation for attention and their own gain. And finally, like Lewis had whispered to his sleeping friend, there were the odd ones that still loved him.

They idolized the man for being a murderer and gave him the name of Darko, created with his YouTube name and last name. An entire character had been created out of something horrible. Darko was a man that wanted nothing more than to hurt people. His white Hollister hoodie was always covered in blood. His white eyes always had a very subtle light-purple glow of excitement to them. He lurked in the Enchanted Village, and people always thought he'd attack another group. He would never be caught for his crimes even if there were hundreds of security tapes with his face in them, even if his DNA was all over bodies and items.

Much like how Lewis Dawkins had never been found nor were his motives fully figured out, even after years had passed since the initial incident in 2018.
