Harry Potter the House elf

Professor Snape was shocked was an understatement. This was Potter's spawn, who he had prepared himself to despise, sitting on the floor, looking at him with a sense of fear in his eyes.
To reduce any further panic, Professor Snape stunned the small child and levitate him back to the hospital wing.

Waking up, Harry realised he was in a bed, again. But this time, there was no way he could run. His new schoolmaster was sitting beside the bed, watching him. He was sure going to be in for it now.

Not wanting to be punished, Harry curled up into a ball underneath the covers so it would be harder to get to him.

Whoosh

The covers flew off of his curled up body leaving him unprotected from whoever was there.

Then, he felt a hand rest on his shoulder and flinched.

Snape's POV

Snape slowly rested his hand against Harry's shoulder, just to have him flinch away from his touch.

"Harry, look at me"

Shaking in fear, Harry slowly came to look at professor Snape.

"No one here is going to hurt you, and if they do, you are to report to one of the teachers."

Harry nodded, confusion evident in his eyes.

"I would also like you to know that you will not be returning to your relatives' house after the way they treated you."

Harry's eyes widened, as if he couldn't believe he wasn't going back.

Then Harry spoke up. "B-but sir, who will do t-the c-chores when Freak is g-gone?"

Still annoyed by the fact that Harry kept calling himself Freak, Severus responded "You need to refer to yourself as I not Freak, that isn't your name. And for your question, they will have to do the chores by themselves."

Harry's POV

"-chores by themselves"

Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing. Master and Mistress doing chores!

Then Harry realised a key question he had forgotten to ask.

Taking the risk, he said "S-sir?"
At Snape's nod, he continued "W-where will Fre- I be staying t-then?"

Professor Snape pinched his nose. "You'll be staying with me until further notice."
