//Kai POV//

???: Kai? Kai....wake up Kai!

Someone said while shaking me.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw Beomgyu waking me.

Beomgyu: Kai we have to go to practice, so wake up asap and eat so we can get going okay?

Kai: Hmm

I said beeing sleepy. I spread my arms and gave Beomgyu my puppy eyes so he would understand I wanted a hug.

He smiled sweetly and gave me a big bear hug and lifting me up from the bed.

When Beomgyu hugged me I saw how his smile turned into a frown but I just ignored that and went to get ready.

//Beomgyu POV//

Kai asked for a hug and of course I would give him a hug.
But when I hugged him I noticed that he was a bit warm but I ignored that thinking maybe it was because he just woke up.

I shook that thought from my head and went to the kitchen and saw the rest of the members sitting on the dining table waiting for me and Kai.

I sat on the empty chair between Yeonjun and Taehyun.

After a few minutes Kai came down and we ate our breakfast and after that we went to dance practice.

//Time skip//

D/i (dance instructor): Kai, this is the fifth time you mess up.

Our dance instructor said being frustrated. (A/n: Trustfrated, if you know you know 😜)

Kai: I'm sorry I'm going to try harder next time.

Kai said while getting into position.

Soobin: Kai you sure that you okay, you look exhausted, do you want water break?

Soobin whispered to Kai before the song turns on.

Kai: Yes hyung I'm okay let's start!

I had a really bad feeling about Kai.
He's always the first one to learn the dance steps and now he's struggling?

I decided to keep an eye on him and I'm pretty sure that the others had the same thought as me.

//Yeonjun POV//

I'm pretty sure that Kai is lying.
Sometimes I feel as I have "a mother's instinct". I know that something is wrong but I will wait until he tells me by himself what's wrong.

We continue to dance but Kai keep messing up. But no one gets angry because we know that he's tired.

D/i: Okay boys good job, take a small break!

We all sighed in relief and sat on the cold floor to calm our bodies down.
We all had a hard time to breath but I noticed Kai panting little extra.

We waited until the break was over and we stood and was ready to dance again.

In the middle of the dance we heard a loud thud we saw that Kai had collapsed. In panic we all ran up to him.

Soobin: Kai! Kai wake up!

He said and gently slapped Kais cheeks in order to try to wake the boy up.

I quickly took action and lifted his legs up so the blood can reach to his head.

Soobin: Hyung, he's burning with a fever.

D/t: Guys we can stop the practice today right now and go home. Text me how he is later.

I nodded and we carried Kai to the car. I sat at the driver's seat and drove off to our dorm.

When we arrived I quickly carried the maknae to his room and changed his clothes to a non-sweaty t-shirt and grey pajama pants.

I tried waking him up again but this time I was successful.

He slowly opened his eyes.

Kai: W-what happened?

Yeonjun: You're sick buddy. I'm gonna try to lower your temperature.

He just nodded and closed his eyes ready to let the sleep take over.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl with cold water and a cloth.

I sat for at least one hour trying to lower his temperature. I checked his temperature again with a thermometer 🌡.

Yeonjun: 97.5°. *sigh* Good it's back to normal.

I slowly woke Kai up.

Kai: H-hyung, everything okay?

Yeonjun: Yes. You need to eat something. Your fever is gone now. Let's go to the others now hmm?

He nodded cuteley.

We went to the living room and he ate some food and then we all settled on the couch sandwiching each other. We played the first movie that came up on the screen and it was Iron man.

Taehyun: Kai, next time you feel sick tell us right away! See what happened today! We were all worried!

Kai: Mianae (Sorry) I didn't thought that I was this sick.

He said and we chuckled at his cuteness and watched the movie cuddling with each other.
