"Ok, so you wanna become a state," said a lady with a pale face and burn marks across her forehead and two scars that run horizontal on her face.
"Yes, I do," says the other
"ok, well, I'm gonna need you to fill out some paperwork and give an explanation to why you should become a state ok" said the red and white faced lady?
"ok," says the other

*sigh* ok you can do this river common just nock on the door and give her the papers it's fine I reach up and knock on the door *knock* *knock* a few seconds pass then there's a voice from the other side
"Come in."
I reach up and grab the door knob and open the door
"Oh, hello again, territory of Washington," says the lady or the District of Columbia.
"Hello DC," I respond whilst taking a seat
"So, did you have some questions?" she asks "uh no I finished it. "I respond hesitantly.
"y-you what?" she stutters. "It's only been a day," she asks
" Um, I just wanted to get it done," I respond nervously.
"Ok then, I guess I'll go over it." she reaches her hand out
I hand her the papers, removing the pin from the paper and taking it apart she reads it for fe moments, looks back and forth between papers , and then looks up and says
"Well, everything seems good. Well, have Congress vote on if you can become a state."
"ok," i respond

"So Congress has voted and decided to let you be the 42nd state to join the union," says DC, who is currently standing next to me
"Nice," i say. " i'll be going now.
"Wait, do you not want to meet the other states?" DC says standing up from her chair
"Not really," i say whilst walking a way
most of this isn't historically correct, and that's probably not how they become states. Oh well
